I hardly watch videos of interviews these days, but the clips done by the Media Gasface crew have kept me enthralled with each and every drop. I wish more videos were like this.
This week’s features Raekwon, talking about growing up in Park Hill, learning about the drug trade, and seeing kids from Africa taking over his project. The Chef also tells about the Ying side of the Island, where “The Others” live and speak with some heavy Italian accent. As he recalls driving by Sammy the Bull’s crib as a teen, he says why they’ll always be a lil bit of Italian spice in his rhymes.
