Roc Marciano – Scarface

Roc Marciano’s Marcberg is one of the doper, under-the-radar release of this year. This track right here is slated to be on the reissue of Marcberg, but the joint I really want to hear is the the official remix to “Snow” with Sean Price. Sheeeit….

  5. I thought this was a very strong album as well but a reissue? How many copies did he sell when the album first came out?

  6. this is dope as fuck!

  7. Reissue = remixes etc..I heard q-tip was doing some beats for the re-issue

and this was my favorite album all year to be honest, every song was hardbody

golden era hip hop in 2010

lol I like how they siced up the cover

  8. Tight

  9. Reloaded is no longer a reissue and is whole new material all around, get it correct if you’re gon post about it.
And this shit is the truth, niggas ain’t ready.

  10. Word to the above post. “Reloaded” was never going to be a reissue of anything, it’s a separate mix-tape with all new material and Roc said so himself when “Marcberg” came out. I’m still holding Marcberg high for 2010 LP’s and it’s an “either-or” situation… you like it or you don’t, I do. This new joint cranks!

Indeed, this had a classic OB4CL vibe to it. I like.

  12. Fuck! So, this is from the reissue of Marcberg or LP ‘Reloaded’??. Can u tel me Meka? C’mon! All sites are saying something different about this fuckin track.

roc marc is not NEW! AT ALL ..hes old skool more than anything (if u call jay z/busta old skool cos dude has been down with busta back in the day he was part of flipmode squad. he aint a new cat. and this is fire.

  17. oh and check “snow” or “the prophecy” or

  18. meh……………………..

  19. Marcberg was an average album lyrically. His beats are what saved him on that album.

  20. this is produced by Q-Tip

  21. Marcberg was fire and the reissue is gunna be tuff as hell. People who saying he not lyriacl ima have to disagree with. His lyrical game is just different and it matches his beat selection. He spits that mafioso crimonology rap. Just because his style is different than everyone in the rap game today dont mean he not good, hes is just in a another lane. I feel like if a rapper comes out today and isnt spittin thet punchline rap like everyone in the mainstream is then they are considered not lyrical. Thats bullshit. Why would you want everyone to sound the same? The dudes lyrics are tuff you just cant listen to him like you would listen to a lil wayne or drake.

  22. ^^^ whoever this dude talkin to just got sonned!!! “DIES”

  23. Hardcore Rap & Mary J. Blige Records <what he said!

  24. Marcberg is one of the best albums of the year. I had never really heard of him until this album, but when I looked into him I found that he was on Busta’s Anarchy album and was signed to Flipmode. I wish I paid more attention to him cuz he seriously put out a classic album. His beats remind me of what Wu-Tang should be on right now, that 36 Chambers feel. This is a sick track right here.

  25. sorry that was a question 3 posts up. turns out it isnt anyway

  26. Not really feelin this joint. Wish it was more structured like the original. This one had a freestyle feel especially w/ Sean P borrowin his openin lines from Jay Elec. Marci’s flow is dope as always tho.

“My bone feed her, She’ll fetch it like a golden retriever” – Roc Marci

    Damn! Ha ha.

“Marcburg” is one of my favorite albums of 2010 too. Marci perfected that slow flow to the point where U hang on to his every word on that album and his beats are ridiculous! He needs to do production for more people especially some of these new New York cats cause I think he’s capable of sculpted a new sound although its similar to some of the “Golden Age” backdrops he still maintains his own identity both production & lyric wise.

  27. Hey bhabss64hlond7v8xi2b, very interesting post, it really got me thinking. xx747y2wiu i9f7z8uq2c Thank you. 98tuwua43w
