  1. i dont like when artists go over classics that are obviously untouchable

  2. Dope! His voice is annoying but damn that was impressive

  3. Damn Diggy got next

  4. cant knock his hustle

  5. O my fuckin’ god do any of you see what the fuck this kid is doing? Mobb Deep really? Fuck outta here…

  6. You can’t deny that everything this kid does it official. Nice flow too.

  7. I’ve still got my infamous cd… somewhere. Which I’m sure is older that him

  8. Infamous came out in 95 right? Diggy is 16 so that means he’s a year older but anyway can’t front like he aint do his thing on his track..good shit

  9. its sad how the definition of freestyle has changed

  10. According to wikipedia, shook ones was made before Rev Run and Ms. Run made Diggy…

  11. he aint trying to out do the classic ….u niggas is stupid young ass kid but he knows how to choose a beat ….instead of jumping on black and yellow type beats he rather jump on classic type beats and that alone already separates him from the old and young rappers .

  12. his voice is pretty annoying…but damn, that was unexpectedly lightweight dope

  13. Diggy is def cut from another cloth…

  14. @cesar is motherfucking right! Damn, I noticed this kid can spit when I listened to ACCC’s I’m Beamin’ Remix.

  15. I don’t care for his voice either! Sounds like a scratchy kris cross. He can spit tho!

  16. @cesar
    co-sign
and to be honest it was pretty tight

  17. This is dope, damn with progress like this, he’ll be one of the best in the game. This kid spits fire!

I think Dig was born in 95, so yeah the same year when Infamous came out.

I don’t like when artists cannot-be-touched-classics but he did it great. I was also impressed by J Cole’s version.

  18. Man I bet the older brother is jealous as fuck about all this attention Diggy is getting when he was the one that originally wanted the rap career. His little brother Diggy is way doper than him. Diggy got Premier hosting his mixtaope and shit.

  19. yall have no concept of hip-hop music, Prodigy would not have that. whatever tho, he’s in Fort Tryon

  20. probably my favorite beat of all-time and i don’t really like diggy that much, but he does it justice.

    j. cole ripped this beat though and besides mobb deep, nobody else will rip it like cole.

  21. Anyone know the name of the jacket he’s wearing?

  22. “its sad how the definition of freestyle has changed”

  23. Too many niggas who didn’t make the song get offended for no reason.

You should be lucky he’s rhyming on some old, classic shit rather than that lame ass Mean Mug song or something of the sort.

  24. Ok I just gotta keep it real for a minute. 1st off mobb deep is classic , I bought the infamous album when it came out and mobb deep was around the same age as Diggy is now. Ill say that Diggy does have skill , but whats missing today in these new kids music is heart and soul. If you listen to that mobb deep album from 95 you can tell they had some life experience and you can tell that what their rappin about is real to them. Im just sayin that sometimes these child celebrity rappers need to get on the mic and tell us something real or about their perspective , that makes it special. It dont have to be all deep or sad it just has to be heart felt and said with passion behind it. If your gonna use a classic beat , then really study what made it classic in the first place. But shout out the Diggy though , I just think he needs to live a little longer then put down his thoughts with substance behind it as well as skill…

  25. Out of all this ‘new school’ skinny jean shit i can fuck with Diggy. Rev definatly raised him on the right music, and him rappin’ over their beats shows his respect to them, so props man.

  26. and ya’ll like this dude why?

  27. fux wit it.

  28. this isn’t bad…i’d rather listen to this then anything by drake, lil wayne, etc. no disrespect if your a fan of them but this just sounds hotter to me. this kid can flow. premier is hostin his mixtape and he’s going over nothing but old school hip hop bangers. should be interesting.

  29. this aint bad. kid can flow. premier is hostin his whole mixtape. its diggy goin over nothin but old school hip hop bangers. should be interesting.

  30. Nice flow Digs

  31. dope
    his voice? who cares…
he spat well..and hes a young cat that aknowledges great beats
dont like it go listen to black n yellow technopop beats :)

  32. good lord…Pee gonna have an attack after listening to this bullshit…that beat way too hardcore for his chimpmunk flow…stop it young buck…stick to the Drake lane…

  33. i dont care what anyone says yo Diggy can spit, his voice is annoying tho….. lol

  34. It’s serviceable.

Though every line he’s said in this song has been said before.

Especially “giving sight to the blind.”

Better than Souljah Boy, I s’pose.

  35. Wow if we judging young rappers based on Soulja Boy this new generation is gonna be hot flaming garbage…there is a million niggas that can spit, this lil one happens to be Run’s kid so he gets his shit put on websites unlike the ones with no connections

  36. Mannn…the original is straight gangsta shit. Diggy is a fuckin rich kid who exemplifies the modern phenomenon of new-age rappers deciding they’re going to rap and using their confidence to attract attention and respect for their hustle. Notice that none of the comments mention how original he is or how this track is going to be on repeat in anyone’s iPod.

This was nothing special at all. If you’re going to rap over a top 20 classic hip-hop beat…you better come with more than just I’m your mother’s, father’s and girlfriends favorite rapper.

I think this style phenomenon should be called Swag, Not Substance.

“take these words home and think it through”

  37. ^^^ i agree somewhat. i have never downloaded a diggy track or listened to one more than one time (probably listened to that “Made You Look” freestyle 2 or 3 times on the web) and i’m sure most people don’t really listen to him, just have respect for what he’s doing…this will probably change in a few years when he develops some unique characteristics and a “better sounding voice” since that seems to be such a big issue amongst the crowd.

  38. so because he’s rich cant he rap.and you niggas talkin about his voice?who gives a shit you dont have to be from the projects to spit.

  39. GAY. why does he have choreograph rap???

  40. *he cant

  41. i like diggy.but i being from queens can salute him.i mean come on young one you live somewhere in NJ or CT your not from queens its not even a question o.O

  42. who wrote this?

was there ever an unedited version of this track?

  43. I think this style phenomenon should be called Swag, Not Substance.

  44. …all those body movements in the video are making me not feel this. Like seriously homie you don’t have to exaggerate it that much.
and the rhymes aren’t that good.
And what is he talking about Queens!? Don’t his family stay in a plush ass house in NJ?!
    Next.

  45. Diggy isn’t from QUEENS!
What’s with all the Queens propaganda?
He’s been raised in New Jersey, where he STILL resides.

    Either way.
    Aight.

  46. run’s house located in nj..richest town in nj…dont rep queens because ur dad got a office there lol

  47. how is he gonna go over a classic and do a backstreet boy routine

  48. KnowledgeSon < i agree. though i think if u were probly younger u wud love this. he is only 16 (yh i kno nas etc were too when they started)

but question is …is ur comment becasue hes rich/been on t.v becasue i dont see ppl lodging the style over substance allegations at people like wiz…or the load of other rappers who dont rap about anything in particular but just endlessly string punchlines together. i welcome these comments but hey…where are they on all the other "swag" not "substance" videos.

  49. “Oh no, he touched a classic”, Shut the fuck up.

This was a lot better than a lot of old ass Shook Ones freestyles.

  50. getdafuckouttaherewiththisbullshit

  51. His voice hasn’t changed completely yet. But with that being said what’s Wiz’s excuse for sounding like he’s still going through puberty.

  52. Some of yall are acting as if Soldier Boy or Gucci Mane was on the beat. Yes Diggy may be young, but he’s cut from a different cloth than majority of these niggaz you hear on the radio. You pseudo-purist kill me sometimes. I appreciate when young kids can identify what good music is, and not be suckered to fit into the mold that the industry wants them to fit into.

Would you rather him flow on Shook Ones Part II instrumental or would you rather him flow on the Crank Dat instrumental?

  53. dope flow…

“Would you rather him flow on Shook Ones Part II instrumental or would you rather him flow on the Crank Dat instrumental?”

  54. I like it. A young rapper respecting the art form.

  55. lol why would someone go over this beat? i dont get it, i guarantee you every single real hip hop fan out there would rather bump the original so whats the point of doing this if you know nobody will bump your shit?

  56. This is actually dope and better than that Soulja Boy “Mean Mug”.

  57. Damn this kid has skills!

  58. dope!

  59. I don’t get why certain rappers that rap about how they are better than rappers are automatically on a higher level than rappers that rap about dumb shit. This kid has barely done anything and is already rapping about how he is better than other rappers. Obviously he lacks creativity. I’m not asking him to rap about hoes and bitches, but we don’t need another “I’m better than all these rappers out here songs.” Plus how is he going to talk about queens when he lives in some big ass house in New Jersey or some shit. Get real.

  60. besides his chilish voice, this was pretty good

  61. His voice is annoying? get the fuck outta here! He sounds 1000000times better then Drake.
