Definitely a Cole fan but these are some of the weakest verses i’ve heard from him in a while. all the leaks are the best songs on the tape premeditated murder, higher, blow up etc. Longing for the cole from beautiful bliss and just begun. The autograph has hot lines though. Overall i thought the production was a little weak too. there are definitely some good beats by jermaine but one can see how a hot ye beat (villematic) makes average cole verses seem hotter

I’ve learned my lesson, never download leaks again..I was dissapointed with Pilot Talk cause I had already heard most of it cause of leaks…I didn’t enjoy Friday Night Lights as much as I wanted to cause I already heard half of it b4 too..can’t wait for the album tho, J. Cole is the truth
This whole tape is INCREDIBLE minus “You Got It”, I just can’t get into the song. The rest of the mixtape is just a breath of fresh air and it’s nice to see actual hip hop getting love from all over the world on Twitter, Facebook, Myspace, and all the blog sites. Who would have thought a few months ago that Cole would ever be the #1 TT on Twitter? This is his moment in life where he can actually say he made it and hopefully we get an actual album in the next few months. I don’t really trust Jay-Z or Rocnation with Cole’s career but that is just my opinion. I have a strong feeling they are going to shelve Cole for other artist on the label and Cole will have to end up leaving Rocnation in order to release an album.

This is one of the best mixtapes I’ve ever heard but please stop comparing this to Kanye’s album. Some of you “hip hop heads” think that lyrics are the only important thing in hip hop. The production on this mixtape are not near Kanye’s. Most of the choruses on this mixtape are below average. Obviously, these were songs that weren’t good enough for Cole’s album. I love J. Cole but he still needs a lot of work to be up with the top tier rappers. If he can work on changing up his beats a little more then he will be a lot more successful. I’m not too concerned about Cole’s choruses because he can just get ghost writters for them or take the Rick Ross approach and have a RnB singer just do most of them for him.

Lyrically I love both FNL/MM4 the same but Cole gets the nod because he does most of his own production. I just think it’s incredible to be THAT talented to be great at both.
