First leak off OnCue’s upcoming Leftovers project.
The idea of “Leftovers” came immediately after the release of Cuey Sings the Blues. I wanted to release the records that didn’t make the project, being that the songs we’re still good material, and also write a couple new records. Within a week or two of writing those couple of records that I originally set out to do transformed into a mostly a brand new project. This project is something to hold my fans over until my next major project which will arrive in March or April of 2011. “Leftovers” will also be the last sample-heavy project released from me.

Oncue is different. Thats why i respect the guy along with his producers and music. His lyrics aren’t as complex as most of us love (including me) but its nice to here some Alternative-rap once in awhile.

The mixtape is hit and miss. But if you like alternative music you’ll love what he samples. Its original for sure.
