Also we should also consider that it’s roughly a month until Nicki’s album drops, so she has probably handed it in already, or at least will in the coming week, so this collab with Em probably happened a while ago and they are releasing the information now to drum up interest for her album…meaning, that if this collboration sucked, it either probably would have leaked, cause it would be a throw-away, or they wouldn’t have released a press-release about it.
As for Em doing love songs, and making tracks with Nicki…lets remember M.O.P. did a track with LFO (who, you ask? exactly), but Em is just trying to connect with a younger audience, because let’s be honest, to our generation (cats who are in their mid 20′s to early 30′s,) Em was like our Bob Dylan – who also switched his style up I might add – but the younger cats, only know him from that Akon Collab, so he wants to remain relavent and still put out a quailty product.
So I am pumped for this track…it maybe lackluster, but it won’t be garbage.
