Shake and Meka u both like lupes music previously , he was nearly blackballed by his label, fans actually came out to protest for an album release, putting ur differences aside wud b great , he one of the few “mainstream?” hiphop acts with content thats audiably interesting and challenging, you post hot garbage everyday which you call garbage urself (waka flocka, birdshit (you call him) ) etc..

    so for the love of hiphop support of the the few mc’s that care about the art not the money, which is what music is..ART AND EXPRESSION. peace.

  16. Sick track. Saigon is the best songmaker in hip hop, without a doubt in my mind, and I’ve listened to a ton of shit. But I understand the hate it took me probably 3 years of casual-listenin to Sai until I realized nobody is better. Best rapper. Best lyricist. Best songmaker. The only thing I can’t give him is Sean Price got the best punchlines in the business.

It takes some intelligence to really dig stuff like this, real hip hop. People these days are so materialistic that nothing satifies anymore except a new catchy hook every few days.   27. nibs, i don’t know if you’re talking to me or the other john, but if you’re talking to me, i think you misunderstood. i was saying that moral of the story was some real dope shit, but that i thought that warning shots 2 was a much more mainstream sound. but hopefully daveg is right, and he steers away from the style he was giving off on warning shots 2, and back to his old saigon dopeness. tbh, i loved all in a day’s work, even though most didn’t, but warning shots 2 just should not have came out.

  34. nah I was talkin to the other john that said this track was boring, all in a day’s work and moral of the story are 2 of my favorite albums of all time. I like warning shots 2, but there isn’t a saigon verse I don’t like (maybe a hook or 2, but for verses? I listen to anything sai) but it is more commercial, not up to par with his other shit I can understand hate on that. I actually seen him on ustream and he said everything on warning shots 2 he thought was garbage and he was gonna just trash them all but amalgam digital offered him 50 g’s to make his worst tracks an album. this video might be a little different but it is a fucking dope track I can’t say that shit enough. psyched for this ep, greatest story and all in a day’s work 2 (which he’s gonna make with statik live on ustream soon).
