Skyzoo’s album “Live From The Tape Deck” is the best album of 2010 by far. People only mention “Recovery” because it’s Eminem. Any unbiased hip hop fan would admit that “Recovery” was good at best.

Recovery is a classic album that will be given the respect and status it deserves in a few years. It’s happened with all his albums aside from Encore.
Eminem’s diverse sound(beats/samples) on each track, unparalleled lyricism and contentious material while still maintaining the essentials of catchy hooks allows us to keep spinning that shit.

As far as the album of the year talk, Idk yet. Skyzoo has been my favorite emcee for a bit now, but I don’t think Live From The Tape Deck was album of the year. And Album of the Year sure as fuck wasn’t either. I’ve never been one to say that Eminem is the greatest, and Recovery wasn’t the best album ever, but it was pretty dope. Some skippable tracks, but Em always had them. But regardless of the subpar songs, Eminem definitely showed on Recovery that he’s the most complete & most talented rapper to ever do it. I have several artists with catalogues that I prefer more, but there’s no denying Em’s talent. No one has ever done it with the hunger, emotion, delivery, flow, lyrical content, wordplay, that Marshall brings at his finest.
