Even if this is a list of most popular rappers, how pathetic is it that Waka Flocka is ranked over B.o.B when B.o.B has been all over the charts this year, going multi-platinum on 2 of his singles and reaching platinum on a third. Opens up for a Jay-Z and Eminem concert and performs at just about every music awards show this year. What has Waka Flocka accomplished besides “Hard in the Paint,” “O Let’s Do It,” and attracting everyone’s attention to himself for being such a horrible rapper. That’s the only reason Lil B gets so much attention, it’s because he’s that bad. Weird Al, Waka Flocka, Lil B, they all just rap so we can laugh at them.

I find an interest in these lists every year because it’s a portrait of the state of Hip Hop, which is not a very good one. Could u imagine if they had this thing back in the 90′s? Skills would actually be a main factor.
I’m not a Nicki fan, but I have to say she is a little low on the list given the criteria MTV is using. I mean, they put Wacka at #8 based on his “3 hot singles in the clubs”, yet Nicki has basically is running radio right now. She is on damn near every song and has a couple of #1 songs. She probably should be in the top 5 or even top 3 based on their criteria. I’m not a fan, just sayin’.
