When will they learn that Banks is NOT a commercially viable artist that should be putting out “mainstream” songs. They obviously haven’t learned yet, as you can tell from all of the R&B features on here. Banks is a dope rapper, like extremely dope rapper, but they keep setting him up for failure by having him make his albums this way with 1/3 of the tracks having R&B features and then polluting the rest of the album with tons of guest appearances. The guy can hold his own on a song, but you could never tell that from his albums.
Just let him do what he does best and gritty ass rhymes over hard beats. I feel bad for the dude almost.

This should have came out on the 16th. His first week sales will be shit, but I can see this having a slow burn, and being a word of mouth album. I bet it will sell at least 200k. Which realistically is a success in this musical climate.
In all honesty, I would pick this and ‘Ye’s album up before Nicki’s. I can see this selling better in the long run than Nicki’s, unless she does some Fergie/Gwen Stefani shit.

i’m not gonna read thru 50 more comments to make sure no1 else has brought this is up, but Eminem track is more than likely not on the hard copy for legal reasons, like Slaughterhouse (and only 3/4 of them at that) on Recovery. this is not being distributed by Interscope and they probably aren’t allowing it on the hard copy…OR…yeah…its part of iTunes’ marketing plan so you have to buy the album from them if you want that track (legally or whatever – but of course everyone will get it regardless)…i say if iTunes’ allows you to purchase that track seperately, then it isn’t them, its an Interscope/Banks issue…if u have to buy the whole album from iTunes to get the track, its their deal…either way, either way
