Here’s a small compilation I’ve put together, gathering some of my favorite releases to be unleashed on Loud Records, including a piece from (Tung) Twista’s debut and one of Loud’s first releases. You may be saying to yourself “This dude is missing mad shit here,” and you’re right; it’s just that I tried to keep the selections from stretching past the 2000 mark.   19. I remember going to the Loud Records office and getting free sampler tapes, CDs, posters, stickers. I also got to meet Prodigy there. Loud Records was an incredible record label.

    speaking of which — the promo tape from the PICTURE up top (Loud ’97: The Setup) has the exceptionally dope early Dead Prez track ‘Food Clothes & Shelter’ which never so release anywhere else.
    they put a weak remade version on the first “Turn Off The Radio” mixtape, but the original from that promo tape is a straight classic.
