If you are going to use someone else material then at least you could have done it “Right, Right, so Right”. You sing it word for word, beat for beat and even the tone. @Kariim Wow you’re an idiot. As you said Ernie Gaines is the original writer. Ever heard of a reference track???!! That’s kinda the idea: They write the song, sing it how they’d like it to sound, and THEN a singer (like J. Holiday) records their version. It’s called the music business. You obviously haven’t paid attention to the dozens of songs on these Soothing Sessions that are reference tracks.
