Opens the song as we have come to expect from him.. a somber conflicted monotone insight on the women in his life (exhibit one: Thank Me Later), which isn’t a bad thing, it’s just expected. Despite the predictable delivery he still conveys strong feelings and connectivity with his target audience as usual. Overall it was a good opening verse.
TI-
He picks up where drake left off, which happens throughout the song, they are very smooth transitions between verses… TI’s choppy southern flow fits perfectly with the beat paired with his lyrics and delivery makes for a clean solid verse.
Kanye-
Kanye flows right into his classic conceded “douchebag” persona which everyone looks expects and looks forward to when you hear Ye on a track. He has a lot of quotable lyrics in his verse along with a few cold heart jokes we have come accustomed to see in Ye’s music. Even though he spits out a lot of selfish jokes and sarcasm there is something very relatable about his verse which makes another solid verse on the remix track.
Fabulous-
Fab’s verse is as smooth as it gets, as clever as he’s proved to be in the past. Just a great verse you can vibe to and lyrically full of fun bars to listen to. Another success for the smooth clever technique of young funeral.
Rick Ross-
He appears in the version i listened to and he basically just raps about the same things he always does, cars, clothes, pockets of money, how fly he his… he has one line at the very end that i thought pertained to the songs meaning.. his voice and persona will never the less get him thru anyway… it was an ok verse
Andre 3000-
3stacks delivers big time. In my opinion arguably the best verse on the track. His word play and complicated rhyme scheme is not to be played with. A lot of what he says will not register if you do not listen closely and will appear to be a lazy conversational verse. Listen to the intricacy of the rhyme scheme and word play, it’s an amazing verse. He even calls out the people who won’t give the verse the time of day, and that right there should make you listen a little more intently at what exactly he is trying to get across here. This verse makes for a great remix to a good song.
