I’ve been a drummer for nearly a decade now and I’ve mastered the technique of Rock, Hip Hop, Jazz, Latin and even Classical. Guess who got me started? Travis Barker. Guess what Travis Barker did when he first started playing drums? The same things I did. Whether you think he’s a good drummer or not, he has A LOT of respect from the drum world. Even so, he will go down as the most influential drummer of this generation whether you like it or not. Oh, and Kanye WEST is my favorite Hip Hop artist. Kanye East is the name that our moms joked about when they heard about Ye West.

blink-182 got me into rock, which led me into other genres and i thank travis for that cus what stood out to me/what i love most about blink is travis’s drumming. the only drummers i think are better than travis barker are (not in order) ringo starr (beatles) john bohman( led zepplin), bill ward (black sabbath), and the guy from radiohead, idr his name…and i listen to almost as much rock as hip hop (i listen to a lotta hip hop…)
anyways, you’re fucked in the head for saying travis can’t drum/isn’t a good drummer. he’s respected by hip hoppers and rockers. that’s a huge accolade in my (and many other’s) book.
