OD is so dope, but i’m excited that the full version’s coming out wednesday; so gay that the version you pay for turns out to be the shorter version. same thing happened with 24hr karate school. i downloaded the leak, and then went and grabbed all the mos def tracks that leaked (which is all of them), and added them on where they’re inteneded to be in the tracklist. sounds much better that way.
If you send your iTunes receipt to Kendrick’s engineer (ali.topdawgent@gmail.com) he’ll send you the missing tracks that couldn’t be cleared on iTunes. You can hit him up on twitter (@mixedbyali) to tell him you sent the email. Shake you should add that to the post so people who copped it can have the full version.

@Hermes – yeah, I definitely agree, because when people spit on popular beats, it’s usually a song that has left a great impression on a fan (including the artist performing… it’s usually their inspiration to remix the song to begin with). The artist has to overcome the hurdle of making a more memorable & impressive version of the song than the original artist #goodluckwiththatone lol.

How I Got Over is, personally, a top 3 album for 2010. OD keeps getting pushed back because the label wants all of the tracks to clear for itunes. They don’t want to release it until then. Plus people want the FULL project, especially when it’s free and the project with less tracks costs money. So they are more likely to download than buy in this case. Money is the main downfall for rappers.
