    I’ve had the displeasure of having my ears raped by them for the past 3 RTB.
    It was very clear at the last RTB that there is no grey area. You hate them or love them. Plenty of people were trying to escape their horrible, horrible, horrible music.

  17. saying musicians don’t have a place in politics is a ridiculous statement. EVERYONE has a place in politics,but shouldn’t say anything until they’re educated about all of it and not just fed jibberish. When you put politicians at a level above the average citizen, THAT is when democracy fails.

    Anyone who says IT is wack most likely doesn’t really understand that hip hop and music in general is about creative expression.

    and also, the people that make comments about artists such as IT and Rage Against the Machine, like “blah, blah, blah rebel”, “agajdshjh socialist ghshjhhf” tend to not even know anything about socialism, communism, OR capitalism for that matter. These artists don’t just SAY shit, they actually act on it by not just raising awareness of real issues, but forming grass roots movements, charitys, protests, etc.

  19. Technique is a lot smarter than several posters are making him out to be. I would recommend watching his videos and listening to him speak because it’s not quite what you might imagine from several of his songs. Besides it’s absurd, Technique is much more of an MC that just the highly political tracks. He reflects struggle, pain, soci-economic issues, history, etc. Does he touch on conspiracy theories? Yes, but he also encourages you to read, educate, formulate an opinion, and challenge the various material his rhymes include. From the few times I’ve met him, he doesn’t support the blind following the blind.
