No one is talking about the process involved, for a month it was said it would be free and released on 09/15. If TDE wanted money for it, then market it as iTunes only and it would be higher on the iTunes chart. I do support KL, I put other people onto his music, I’m going to pay for a concert ticket, and merchandise when I get there (hard copy of OD included if it exists)..I will personally hand KL $6 from the front row if that is what he wants. But, look at all the other iTunes releases-you get bonus tracks. Economies of scale. I’m going to wait for the download to get the complete project, but I’m not going to bitch about the $6 or judge other people. Blame the management for not clearing the tracks and posting it on iTunes on short notice before the project was actually going to drop. Maybe if KL had a website (better management), the number of free downloads on his OWN site would motivate marketing dollars, or a major deal (if that is what they want)? What is the message of “Wanna Be Heard”? What happened to this “appreciation project” from the EP? KL is my favorite rapper right now and I support him, but his “team” needs to have better planning.

^^ Yup releasing it for free also sometimes works more in the artist favor. Not only will they get the people who were going to buy it no matter what they will then get the non believers to buy it after they listen to it. I wasn’t going to buy it until I was able to listen to the actual songs. I am sure there is many other people like myself that are not big KL fans that approach it not wanting to buy it but once they get to actually digest the music they will go purchase it.
If you have the money to buy it, like posted above do it. This guy truly went in on this project. I bought it this morning and haven’t stopped playing it. Classic in my opinion
