  1. oh really.

  2. isn’t he also (supposedly) dropping the album in october? whatever, just drop something

  3. i dont understand why this man has haters…

  4. why the fck does willow smith have a record deal. this teenage son of a retired rapper shit is gettin out of hand…

  5. MM4 10/26

    better mixtape

    cheah

  6. Cole is dropping a mixtape then his debut album? It can’t get any better than that!

  7. gotta say, im not too sure how i feel bout him droppin a mixtape now. remember him sayin he didnt wanna drop one before the album as to not over-saturate and not give too much quality away for free? i feel like this could do that….but i get the point, hes tryna build up buzz for the album since the single has died off. i jus hope hes not rushin and puttin out average shit to please the masses.

  8. i almost hope coles album gets pushed to january so his mixtape cold be the best album of 2010 and his album could be the best album of 2011

  9. could*

  10. SMH @ Cole never giving definite answers or dates. Somebody needs to tell him that he hasn’t reached THAT level yet where he can dictate everything. It’s a fucking hip hop album it’s not the cure for AIDS so stop being tight lipped about it. Either this guy thinks he is a MUCH bigger deal than he is or his album isn’t close to done. I said it a few months ago and I will say it again this dude is the next Joe Budden (career wise). Just wait and see 2 years from now what his career is like. I don’t like Drake but Cole will NEVER have even a fraction of the success Drake is having now and Drake will only get bigger. (pause)

  11. i wan’t to know how anybody can hate cole. exceptional music due to his knowledge of hip-hop’s roots, his story telling ability is on point, you can relate to his shit, he’s lyrical, and most his beats are good. PLUS HE IS A GOOD DUDE. it’s like he’s one of my homies.

  12. ^U MAD?

  13. File J.Cole under mixtape rapper who may release an album someday that will be completely over hyped and wack. Dude is the new Joe Budden, complete with his own ball washing internet soldiers.

  14. @Rezo
hip hop isn’t about getting famous it’s about putting out good music. j cole is consistently putting out good music so don’t hate. why the fuck do you care if he’s not as popular as drake anyway? drake is just another less than average wannabe rapper that got big by appealing to the mainstream audience.

  15. J. COLE WILL INFACT HAVE THE ALBUM OF THE YEAR, HE’S BY FAR ONE OF THE BEST YOUNG PERFORMERS REPPING THE NEW SCHOOL. CHECK ME OUT: @jaeboogz

  16. ^^ LOL @ how stupid you sound. You really think rappers become rappers to make good music? They become rappers to get RICH and FAMOUS quickly. They might love what they do but would they do it for free? HELL FUCKING NO! Becoming “popular” is the whole point of becoming an entertainer. Artist who say it doesn’t matter just use that as an excuse for why they haven’t or why their favorite rapper hasn’t. That would be like an athlete saying I don’t care if my team ever wins a ring, the whole fucking point of doing it is to get to the TOP. So all you little faggot Cole stans need to stop talking about he makes real music who cares blah blah blah. There is A LOT of niggas that make real music so what is your fucking point? You don’t have one!

  17. ^^ lol man i dont know what your problem is but as a fan, i don’t really see what else matters other than if a rapper puts out good music. i dont really care what his intentions are, if he’s putting out fire then he’s doing his thing and making good music. for the hip hop FAN hip hop is about listening to good music. do you disagree? lol you probably do because you just like to act like you always know what you’re talking about on an online blog and think you’re cool. later.

  18. i can’t wait for your next lame response

  19. being a regular on this site i don’t see how loving an artist and giving him praise makes you a “stan” or whatever. i would rather sit here and point out good things about j.cole, than go disrespect or hate on some artist just because im not feeling him. is hate the new love? why are so many of yall negative as hell?

  20. ^@Rezo that was a “What u think I rap for? To push a fuckin’ Rav 4?” comment lmao

  21. To all yall skeptics talking about Cole being the next Joe Budden, did you think maybe the mixtape is an intro/prelude to the album and a way to promote the next single. Similar to the way BoB released the May 25th mixtape like 2 months before his album. Cole is still making moves and its all working towards the build up of the album

  22. It’s gonna be hard to top the warm up but I’m anticipating this joint

  23. J. Cole shout out Spitta! that was dope!

  24. what is the pic of? j cole concert?

  25. somehow i wasn’t feeling cole when i first heard him but i gotta say he’s pretty dope and consistent too

  26. I’m wishing he drop the album already. But a few more months wouldn’t hurt. I thinks he wants the album to be a classic. Can’t wait for the mixtape to drop. I know it’s gonna be great.

  27. ^^^ J. Cole said he thinks his album is phenomenal. Coming from him, it has to be. Can’t wait

  28. ^^ Yea like he is going to say his album is wack. Are you faggots born stupid or just act that way????

  29. Rezo you shouldn’t be calling people faggots or stupid, seeing as you think 9/11 was a government conspiracy.

  30. I’m a big cole fan I don’t listen to drake anymore because he changed to an R&B singer but the guy is smart unlike most of these rappers who get there buzz going and then do nothing with it. Drake puts an album out and cashes in and now is about to drop another album soon I really hope cole doesn’t turn into another Jay Elec. He has got to be the worst at killing his own fucking buzz what a dumbass dude.

  31. @Rezo – somebody in our generation makin music like this? something dealing with a little more than girls and fame and actually getting noticed. if you can name somebody doing all of that than i wanna see it. Blu aint doin it, drake aint sayin shit, the previous generation is falling off.
This guy is brining deeper issues to a bigger audience, an audience you are a part of whether you hate him or not.
ALL COMMENTS BELOW ME SUCK DICK

  32. bringing deeper issues? are you joking?

  33. J. Cole needs to put the finished version of No Holdin Me Back. That beat deserves J. Cole, not rick ross. Sick track

  34. yall getting mad @ him for giving out free music!
    hahaha i pity you fools&haters

  35. “To all yall skeptics talking about Cole being the next Joe Budden, did you think maybe the mixtape is an intro/prelude to the album and a way to promote the next single.
