You know, it is sad that EVERY single time I see something worthwhile based on the merit of the artist (such as Lyrics Born), no one seems to really care. This is definitely West Coast in great form, but here again is no one accepting it or at least commenting on the music. Even haters avoid whats good, which I find surprising.
My comment on the music: The hook seems too busy…I have had to turn down the speakers every time it has rolled by. There is just too much going on. The lyrical quality is exactly what I expected from Lyrics Born, so I guess that makes this Wednesday a bit more blessed than anticipated!
^^ i didn’t even comment on this thread for the exact same reasons you just said. Took the words right outta my mouth. Good to know there’s intelligent people out there.
as for the music: Born is on point. I’m embarassed to say I haven’t heard dude before this track. (which is great cuz I have a lot of catching up to do). As for the hook, well, it sucks ass. Way too busy. Half of it gets lost in translation and the other half just doesn’t want to hear cuz it’s such a contrast to Born who is laid back and mellow on this track.
Other than that tho, it’s a top 5 for me this month. (way too much unreleased pac this month for this to be #1 :D)
