Most of the time when an artist uses another artist beat they do it out of a way of respect. It’s not a competition between Cole and Kanye on this beat. I am sure Cole heard the song and was feeling it so he got those creative vibes to just add his own things to the beat. Most artist are not going to do their own version to a song unless they really like and respect the original version. It’s just like when Cole did Dead President’s, he was trying to compete with Jay, he said that song was just always incredible to him so with the right platform he wanted to do his own version.

They both would seriously cake off of that and at the same time get an incredible amount of exposure. I just don’t know how much Drake would benefit from it, but I know Cole would really benefit from it. Then at some point just act like they deaded the beef then start doing records together. That way Drake fans would also become Cole fans and vise versa. It would be good for both of them I think considering they are the 2 best or most respected younger artist.
