  1. god fuckin damn….ILL

  2. I know very little about Yelawolf but I just don’t see what his appeal is. He’s just not good on this track. No flow, no quotables…nothing. Is it just this song? Is it just me? Otherwise, Big Boi and the Andre 3K are on point.

  3. *Andre 3K production

  4. Actually, I like Yelawolf’s verses over Big Boi’s(miss big’s old flow).

  5. A 3 Stacks cameo would have made this even better

  6. i stole your couch and took your truck to move it with, so for (sofa) any of ya’ll wanna get tore up (towed up)

    -dope.

  7. UMMMMMMMMM No flow…no quotables? WTF is wrong with today’s “hop hop fan”.

Understand this …if Yela is on the album, he earned the spot. Plus, aren’t we on the interwebz? GOOGLE HIM! Hell, you don’t see his appeal? He appeals to all facets of hip hop, whether back packer, street, country/south, and he’s a southern MC that doesn’t rap about drugs he didn’t sell or hoes he didn’t pimp or carrying guns he don’t have. Dude is authentic……Plus, considering WHITE PEOPLE buy the majority of hip hop music…..well we don’t even need to state the obvious.

  8. 100%puredope

  9. I saw this yesterday on MTV Jams thinking: “What is wrong with this kids hair.” Also, his flow is a bit, all over the place. I understand trying to do the whole Big Boi style of hopping around but it doesn’t always work.

  10. @ southcakc23 – thanks, yeah, I know WHO he is. And the facts you stated about him doesn’t mean that makes me enjoy his voice, verses, “flow”, or “quotables”. Today’s hip hop fan thinks Drake, Nicki Minaj, J.Cole, and Wiz Khalifa stand up to the legends in the rap game. They also think record sales = talent. So, I’m not sure where you’re going with that. I’m a hip hop fan and consider the late 80′s/90′s the golden age of rap, so go ahead and call me old fashioned I guess. The end of your rant is pointless. Regardless, Sir Lucious Leftfoot is one of the best releases of the year IMO.

  11. always hating on Yeller…get real guys…

  12. Yela’s flow on here is weird, but he is amazing regardless.

  13. Most played out sentiment I’ve seen:

“I’m more of a fan of the 80s/90s hip-hop than today, today’s rap doesn’t mean anything and most of the rappers out now blah blah blah”

WE FUCKING KNOW THAT YOU LIKE THE GOLDEN AGE OF HIP-HOP. MOTHERFUCKING EVERYONE DOES. IT’S THE GOD DAMN GOLDEN AGE. YES ALMOST EVERYONE CONCEDES THAT THE MUSIC FROM THAT ERA IS ESSENTIALLY THE BEST HIP-HOP EVER MADE. I AM SO FUCKING SICK OF SEEING THESE ASS CLOWNS ON EVERY POST SMUGLY/SUBTLY REFERRING TO HOW HIP-HOP AIN’T LIKE IT USED TO BE. JESUS FUCK, DO YOU THINK THAT’S AN ORIGINAL THOUGHT? DO YOU THINK WE WILL LIKE OR RESPECT YOU MORE?

THESE PEOPLE ARE NOT “PURISTS” (THOUGH SUCH A THING DOES EXIST), THEY ARE (MOSTLY) SMUG ASSHOLES WHO THINK THAT LIKING 80S/90S HIP-HOP WILL MAKE THEM APPEAR MORE AUTHENTIC (OH WORD? YOU LIKE THAT OLD 2PAC AND BIGGIE? ILLMATIC WAS DOPE? NO WAY!). THESE ARE THE PEOPLE THAT SNIFF THEIR OWN FARTS. AND I CAN SENSE THE SMUGNESS THROUGH MY COMPUTER. SO WHENEVER I CLICK THE JUMP ON A POST, I HAVE TO SEE PEOPLE ARGUING THAT THE GOLDEN AGE OF HIP-HOP WAS THE BEST? FUCKING AGONY.

  14. Thanks, I appreciate label. Stay in school yo.

  15. I appreciate the lable. Stay in school you. Looks like your CAPS LOCK KEY is stuck.

  16. IF U THINK YELAWOLF WACK KILL YOURSELF.

JUST GO ISTEN TO POP THE TRUNK AND HOMETOWN REMIX WITH BIG KRIT

  17. YELAWOLF IS WHAT’S UP! GET REAL HATERS!

  18. TETON I CAN’T UNDERSTAND YOU WITH THE NINETIES’ DICK IN YOUR MOUTH.

But I do appreciate the “stay in school” advice.. although the second time around it was “stay in school YOU and not YO. Typo? Or just retarded? My gut is telling me retarded. Oh and you spelled “label” correctly in your initial response. STOP OVERTHINKING TETON!

  19. Yelawolfs voice n flow is so fucking annoying. Hes like da white male version of nicki minaj but with a southern accent n no appeal smh

  20. @ dat baby – your arguement leaves out the context of southcake23 bringing up “today’s hip hop fan” which is why I added the fact that I’m not even really a fan of most of today’s hip hop, I’m an old school head, ya dig? You’re missing the point and completely misguided. This is a blog and I’m sending this from my phone. Calling me out on silly grammatical errors is about all you got. Nice work. As you can see, I’m not the only one not feeling Yela. To each his own.

  21. this + shuutterbug my favorite videos all year.

  22. yall stop arguing already like little girls…. either you like Yela or not…you like new hip hop or not…. let it be… i love his muzik outside his contribution to this track… but stop bitchin…. its a little childish =D

  23. the worst part about the internet… it gives an avenue for idiots to spread their moronic opinion. Yela is fucking sick. blah blah blah I dont like his hair… what would you prefer a normal bro cut or just a buzz? anything orginal or different or anything in its infant stages gets ripped these days. Big boi and Yelawolf killed this summer.

  24. big boi kills it, as he should, and i don’t hear anything from yelawolf on that song that warranted a guest spot on BB’s album. sorry, no flow, and nothing i want to hear again. I understand giving the new up and comers a chance on your album, but BB should just say sorry to them when they don’t step up to the plate.

  25. yelawolf ruined this song for me…his verse is shit

  26. Big boi killed the track, Yela’s part had to grow on me. He didn’t ruin the song though – you can’t ruin a Outkast song. Too many good facets to the beat, Big Boi’s verse, and the hook.

  27. listen2goodmuzik: “MMMM FARTS *SNIFF SNIFF*”

  28. waited for this.. i like the vid

  29. I liked Yelawolf’s verse more than Big Boi’s.. dude kinda reminded me of Andre, just a lil bit more off the wall.. I really don’t like Yela’s other songs tho

  30. Yela & Big Boi killed this track

  31. Dope song, dope vid. I always enjoy Yela on a track, both of them handle this track proper and 3stacks brings it on the produc’ tip.

  32. THIS IS DOPE

  33. Trunk Muzik is the best album/mixtape of the year

  34. “I’m pale, but I’ll impale you with an Impala”

You don’t consider that a quotable? Only people that say shit like that is old school Eminem. Yela ripped this.

  35. whoever directed / edited this video is terrible….

  36. Yela is sick get wit the times. His rhymes, metaphors, flow are always on point. His voice however does get annoying at times cause he sounds more like Hank Williams (if you know who that is) than a rapper but theres no denying his skill wit the wordplay. I fucks wit this song heavily.

  37. Yelawolf > Every white rapper not named Marshall Mathers

  38. *and maybe slug haha

  39. “in the bar like a pool stick, 808 Toomp shit”

not saying yelawolf is the same caliber of mc, but he certainly was heavily influenced by andre 3stacks. this cut reminded me off the first listen of the “dez only 1″ song by witchdoctor featuring andre and big boi. yela’s flow, in particular; dude sounds like andre with the off-kilter flow, strange cadence, and exaggerated bending of words to fit his rhymes.

peep out yelawolf’s “looking for alien love” if you don’t believe me. clearly not a hit record, but ambitious in the same way andre benjamin would do it.

  40. I love this song and vid. I think i’ve been sleeping on the Left Foot album. Yela was dope, he wasn’t wack. Without the vid I don’t think I would have paid attention to his verse though.

  41. yo i love the fact that big boi is still puttin out bangers after 15 yrs in the game. i’m disappointed though that he chose yela to be on this joint with him. i heard dude’s buzz last year and checked for him and was not impressed at all. his flow on here is outshined by bigboi severely. only good that comes out of this is that it shows if this cat can get on with one of the legends in the game, then any motherfucker can.
