  1. k

  2. dope collab!

  3. dope!!!

  4. RZA’s versus on Nutmeg & 4th Chamber are 2 of the illest versus of all time…his verse here isn’t bad, but he sounds bored as fuck.

  5. *verses (x2)

  6. DOPE!

  7. i love krs and all, but can he stop rapping about mc-ing, how good he is lyrically, other rappers, being an mc, etc?

  8. ^^ cosign

  9. yo visit my website….www.dopemuzic.wordpress.com…and remember Knowledge Reigns Supreme

  10. RZA rocks

  11. Is it me, or is KRS-ONE raps about precisely the same shit Lil Wayne raps about (how good of mc he is), but somehow considered among the greats?

  12. the difference between krs and lil wayne? come on man. i see what your saying. but in the history of hiphop, the man worthy enough to speak on being an MC is krs. and im no yorker. cali bread. without hearing the album, i would say he’ll rap about more than what being an MC is.

p.s. this cover art is OFFICIAL. rza killed the beat. i hope he raps less than produce (but thats my bias/some people LOVE it).

  13. @ Is it me?….

Sorta But It Doesnt Sound Like Krs-1 Is Freestylin In ALL His Verses And Songs

And He Is Consistent Unlike Lil Wayne Who Jumps Around The Room With Lyrics (He’s COMPLETY Random Yet He Raps About The Same Shit Every Song ..)

And Krs-One Is Lyrically WAYYYY Better That Lil Wayne

  14. KRS 86-95>>>>>>KRS 2010

Your not rhyming about crack….but what are you rhyming about?

  15. krs-one is boring nowadays…raps about the same shit day in day out to lame instrumentals. Now if RZA was producing this i’d probably listen agaain

  16. KRS-One is probably the most consistent MC of all time, 20+ years and still spitting fire.
From the 2 tracks I’ve heard this will definitely be worth to go out and cop.

  17. 1)Krs 1 has was petter rhymes than lil wayne..consistently

2)Listen again to wat krs said. yes he talked about mcing but he talked about integrity in life too, listen again i say.

3)All these ppl dissing must be Wayne fans (and no thats not a shot)/and or have no appreciation for the history, wud a rock fan say that about pink floyd. no they respect it.

  18. krs-one is boring nowadays…raps about the same shit day in day out to lame instrumentals.
longg said this on August 29th, 2010 at 7:48 am

yet he’s not in the mainstream like ALL of young money, wayne jay, soulja boy and other lames i dont want to list. How odd……………….crazy people nowadays

  19. You fuckin little kids who even mention KRS and Wayne in the same sentenceshould be beaten with a club like a baby seal. KRS is a true MC, and THAT is why he can say whatever the fuck he wants. And he’s dope while doing it. Nerdy ass tight jean motherfuckers. Go jerl off to a Currency song.

  20. Has the album been leaked, and if so does anyone have the link?

  21. It was okay just because he’s a hip-hop legend doesn’t mean we have to like everything he puts out and it also doesn’t mean he has to just be bullshittin with lyrics. And yeah you shouldn’t be comparing Wayne to KRS their bullshittin’ isn’t even in the same category (if that makes sense). And why do people always bring up skinny jeans when dissing new school rap what does that have to do with shit?

  22. if this wasn’t krs you guys wouldn’t be praising it this hard. song is straight boring ass

  23. i taught KRS how to rap..#realtalk

  24. @Rob yeah it has leaked and it’s not very hard to find ;)
@dat baby… Knowledge is far from boring, if you think it is then have fun living in ignorance.

  25. RZA was asleep on his verse. Sounded like he really wasn’t feeling the energy on this one.

  26. I respect KRS-1 and all, but I noticed almost every “hip hop” fan has to hate Lil Wayne. I grew up listening to some crazy gutter shit. Nas, Cam’Ron, Fat Joe, Pun, Big L, Jay Zm etc. Ima 90s baby, and I do NOT see why he can talk about the same thing as Lil Wayne and then Wayne gets dissed for it? Thats one point I wanted to make in my life. Name goes beyond lyrics. If NaS wrote an album for me, picked beats and all and I laid the vocals, all of you would be like OH THATS WACK! But bet money if Nas did it you would praise the Lawdy LAWD that he did it so well.

The only rappers Ive ever paid for were Nas, Jay, Biggie and Game. Bootleg everything else, and if I like it I buy it, and KRS 1 is about to get downloaded on a torrent site. Bet it is gonna be overhyped by him and “EMCEES” and then yall are gonna be like “WDF MAN I COULDA BOUGHT ME A BURGAH”
Niggas choose by name, but if you listen closely LilWayne is the only Young Money rapper besides Drake thats raps about real shit in his life. There are few rappers to do that. J. Cole may be the next big thing but old head rappers are gonna find a way to hate on his style. DOGS. CANNIBUS is better than almost every rapper and he never gets credit.
NaS is over rated, and his last albums were not that good. He better make a comeback I am willing to pay for. Salty ass niggah.
PS – Tell HOV his wife is pregnant, and yeah its mines

  27. PPS I dont see how the fuck this is knowledge… Get a book nigga, thats a start.

  28. “Hip-Hop. I am that word to you.”

  29. @ Young Mo Fo.

Young Money is a bunch of shitty homo rappers and an attention seeking dyke bitch who has a big bubble. That’s all. to say that Wayne is the best of the bunck is a true statement, but as an analogy, if you are the best player on your basketball team, but your team is shit, are you good?

J Cole is pretty good as far as what I’ve heard. Dude can spit.

As far as the track goes… Not bad, nothing special. Wished the beat had a little more complexity. Tru Master is dope. RZA’s the shit.

  30. @ d-bo
Lebron was on the Cavaliers…Im pretty sure he got MVP twice on a team that didn’t do much.
Randy Moss was on the Raiders for 2 years i think? 1st Year was his first “bad” year. Check those stats
I understand if a person doesnt like a rapper, but there is no reason that you have to call him the worst, or gay faggot or anything.
I don’t like KRS-1 and I can do the same thing, it’s just Im not immature enough to do that. I have no personal beef with him.
Did Young Money run a train on your parents?
I just hate that people just follow the “cool” trend just to be liked more by a few people. Ive had no entertainment but music for the past few years and even listened to old music. I could not listen to alot of old rappers, maybe Raekwon was as old as it gets or this nigga…Rakim. You could say that a rapper sucks, but obviously they have more fans for a reason..

  31. BTW Do people still go out of their way to find a reason to diss Young Money? It was the same with G-Unit. Mad people hated them, but when they broke up, its “Damn i wish they still made music.”
If you do not like someone just don’t listen to the music. I can honestly say that I give rappers a chance to make music I like, and I listen to different songs of theirs to see if that would be it. This doesnt do it for me, but Im not saying that KRS is wack. Im saying I dont like the particular song. Same goes for any rapper.

  32. @ Young Mo Fo.

this is not a diss, but you said go read a book and I don’t think you take your own advice. BLACKMEN or women that refer to themselves as niggas obviously need an education on HISTORY. You do not like KRS one? WHY? because he not saying niggas bitches, dope, money, fucking bitches, my ice?…… TRUE HIP HOP is empowering!…

“Hip Hop is suppose to uplift and create, to educate people on a larger level and make a change”—-Doug E. Fresh, A Hip Hop Legend.

learn my brotha tru hip hop…

  33. I can’t say nigga now? Damn didn’t know. Actually I do read books, and I AM going to my second year of college in a few days. Don’t make crazy assumptions please.
Anyways its not that he doesnt rap about those certain things. I mean that he is just boring, his voice is mostly monotone and then yelling. He is always making some type of rap about him being better than someone or everyone else, and then he says education is important.
Did he graduate college? If he didn’t then I have a problem with him saying that.
Issie I just said I listen to J. Cole and Nas. I also listen to Talib Kweli, Jay Elec, Biggie, Tupac, Joell Ortiz, and a few more.
Is that HIP HOP enough for you? FYI there are different Genres of Hip Hop, check Wikipedia and you can see a list I believe.
So maybe this genre of Hip Hop is boring to me…Nigga. I can care less about what had happened in the past, I don’t dwell on such things. That would be asking me to hate all white people? Nah nigga, I have no problems with anyone and if they have a problem with me, then its THEIR problem. I say NIGGA becuase its slang between black people nowadays. If any other race called me niggA i take it the same way. But if a guy says niggER then theres an issue.

  34. @Issie Ishiyama
I replied to you in the last post but I always forget to add stuff.
That website you got there, its good stuff but you should have more shirts, the Blue and gold is hot but I would get it in black, in Large. You got some huge ass sizes, XXXL and shit. You pay for me to get fat and I’ll pay for a fat ass shirt LOL. NO offense. I just state my opinion, I’m not going to be on every post dissing it, the reason I came to this was becuase I gave KRS1 a chance again and this song was disappointing. And yes I am a Jay-Z fan, I grew up on the man, and he is an inspiration to people to make business a priority and you will succeed. ROC has been my label of choice for a while now. And I barely buy HIS albums becuase most are too dumbed down. The Black Album was under rated and I think Eminem and Jay-Z are the two greatest rappers of all time.<<–Could be argued either way.
But I do not see any other rapper who has been bigger to getting hip hop open to a wider audience than Em and Jay. KRS-1 seems to have an issue with most of the newer rappers, and its none of his business. I do not like people like him who feel that since they have done it, they have a say in everything. Old geiser can go sit on a rocking chair for all I care. Sounds like a preacher to me
