Drake – I’m Ready For You [Original/NoTags]

First the tagged version. Then tagless w/ a different beat (that most people hated). Now we’ve got the tagless version (of Drake’s female reference track) w/ the original production.

  1. nice
    thanks shake

  2. god it’s so pathetic everyone in my community jumps on the dick for this track w/o even knowin it’s meant for a chick

  3. @On34… guess they’re not listening. a lot of artists have female reference tracks. even folks thought ne-yo was gay because of reference tracks but not once did something think, “hey, he’s a writer and maybe he’s writing songs and doing samples to give to female artists” (doh) lol

  4. Sounds like something for Rihanna
its sad to say that I would prefer this version over hearing Rihanna wine on it

  5. still gay.

  6. haha.. i just find reference tracks funny cause they sound mad homo.. but i wonder who this is for? i could see rhianna on this

  7. its radio ready for rihanna

  8. I feel like Bee would kill this song, but I doubt it’s for her.
oh and I meant Beyonce. That looks dum

  9. My guess is Ciara…

  10. Quite frankly listening to the lyrics I just think this is gonna be a weird ass song for anyone to sing. But Beyonce could probably kill this one, Jason’s right.

Drake can’t really do justice to a reference track because while his pitch and everything is fine he can’t put a whole lot of emotion into his voice which is what a track like this would need.

since he tried to sing on that Raphael Saadiq track off Teflon Don I can only assume Rick Ross has a couple of these lying around that we’ll hear soon.

  11. It’s nikki

  12. DEFINITELY a rihanna single. Especially on the hook. Or even TIARRA MARI (or however the fuck u spell her name)

  13. So we have Nicki Minaj, Beyonce, Rihanna, or Ciara… I still say Ciara for some reason, just my opinion…

  14. Garbage

  15. this should go to rihanna

  16. Fuck this bumblegum ass faggot.

Weak ass nigga needs to go back to Degrassi.

  17. The second I heard this I knew it was meant for a female artist, most likely Rihanna
and once its finished and drake’s singing vocals are replaced with Rihanna’s and its released then its gonna be a #1 song

  18. Funny if this actually turns out to be his song lol

  19. i don’t fuckin get why the blogs post this shit….now you have ruined a potential song for somebody? That we will never get to hear? Good fucking job you posted some wack ass reference song by Drake, think you are so cool 2DB? Thanks for ruining it for the artist and the fans, dumb fucks

  20. ^^^ are you really upset that now Rhianna might not get to put this song out?? like really nigga? did this ruin your day?

  21. ^^ *dead*

  22. lol shame on you 2dopeboyz…. LMAO

  23. no i don’t fucking care…it’s just that in general the fucking blogs don’t think at all before they post shit like this. They care more about putting out some unreleased shit so people know they have hookups rather than actually helping the artists out. Look at the Lupe shit. And countless other times the artists/labels have to tell sites like 2DB to take the shit down. Like when they posted some Detox reference tracks….obviously that fucking ruins that song and delays Detox even further…though obviously it’s never coming out now. Doesn’t do anybody any good

  24. LOL@No if the reference song is so wack why’s your pussy hurtin so bad. Song would be cool with any female

  25. ^I know its over your heads, faggots. So I’ll put it this way. Your favorite artist (Soula Boy) does a reference track for your second favorite artist (Wacka Flacka). The song is unfinished, unmixed and unmastered. It leaks. Now what would have been one of your all time favorite jams, never gets finished and never sees the light of day.
    Get it, niggas?

  26. ^^I don’t give a fuck about Drake or any R&B artist. I’m an underground head. It just irks me that these blogs think they are smooth as fuck because some dumbfuck wanted his props and sent them this shit. Would bet my life that if a reference song for Asher Roth got leaked Shake would guard it with his life, though.

  27. boring and gay at the same time, such a bad combo

  28. ^fuck off nigga if its leaked its gonna be put out there. Exclusives is what keeps these sites running reference track or not.

  29. Don’t bring Ash into this.

  30. RHIANA OR B STANDS WOULD EAT THIS SHIT UP AND IT WOULD KILL ON THE RADIO. IF B DID THIS WITH A NICE VIDEO IT MIGHT BE HUGE BUT WITH THE WAY DRNKS SINGS IT ITS FOR BIG FORHEAD. AND EVEN WITH THIS LEAK THEY CAN STILL PUT THIS OUT

  31. yea Im definitely thinkin Rihanna especially with that hook

  32. ^^^ lol @ the fake Shake. no avatar = no shakey poo

  33. lol @ Shake. Got you guys pissed for some weird reason.

Yea, some of the parts sound like it was tailored for Rhianna. I think Beyonce would sound pretty good on this as well.

  34. i think it’s for lil wayne or birdshit

  35. he raps about YM at the end of the song so its prolly for Shanell… or he’s just gay

  36. I like the tagless one w/ the different beat because it had a dubstep feel to it
    cool track nonetheless.

  37. Maybe this song is for Rita Ora (Roc Nation Artist).

  38. please dont bring kid cudi in this conversation hes the beats of all time

  39. i was wondering do any women go on this site or is it a huge dick fest on 2dbz

  40. No worries, most people hate this one too.

  41. no women ever come on this site its just fagits and haterz in here

  42. It’s funny how Drake gets called a homo for this but when Biggie did reference tracks for Lil Kim’s “Hardcore” album people didn’t say shit. I still remember BIG saying stuff like “im a bad bitch!” and “eating my pussy while I watch cartoons.”

  43. ^^^ I was laughing about your comment until I saw your name and remembered that you think 9/11 is a government conspiracy. smh.

  44. ^^ It’s ok keep letting the American media brainwash you with lies and I will believe the truth.

  45. lol. OJ is actually innocent too right?

  46. LOL people still think that 9/11 wasn’t setup by the government? That was something that was made clear years ago. Some people just refuse to take the blindfold off, kind of like when they don’t want to admit they’re being cheated on when everybody else knows it but them.

  47. yeah and Tupac and Biggie are chilling somewhere in the Bahamas with Bob Marley

  48. Yeah, and Lasers is coming out very soon….

  49. Drake is more fake than your conspiracy theories

  50. “Yeah, and Lasers is coming out very soon….”
    ^^
    hahahahha

  51. Waiiiiiit, people still actually believe 9/11 was a conspiracy??? LMBAO!!! Hot damn man, ya’ll niggas serious? Just do ten minutes of google research and each and every 9/11 conspiracy is disproved. Sigh, some people are just so damn gullible man.

  52. Like George Bush’s incompetent regime could have organized 9/11, hahahaha.

  53. This is obviously a Nicki Minaj reference track by the rhyme @ the end.

  54. It doesn’t matter who it’s for, Drake is mad wack. It’s funny to think about how last summer everyone thought he was the greatest thing to ever touch a mic. Ha! (I love the Nneka sample though!)

  55. HOLY SHIT DRAKE SUCKS ASS… DAMN I WISH SOULJA BOY WOULD OF SANG THIS SONG FOR WACKA FLOCKA OR OJ THE JUICE MAN….. WACKKKKKKKKKKKA WAAAAAAAAAAACKAAAAAAAAA
BURRRRRRRRRR BURRRRRRRRRRR BURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR CACACACACAC CACACACACA…. DAMN DRAKE NEEDS TO START TALKING ABOUT SLANGIN AND BANGIN BECAUSE THATS WHATS COOL… TALK ABOUT SHIT THAT YOU DONT EXCPIERCE, BECAUSE THIS BLOG WILL LOVE YOU… HOLY SHIT DRAKE BE HARD… DAMN SOULJA BOY SHOULD OF DONE THIS SONG :(( HE LOOKS LIKE GOKU AND CHUCKIE FROM RUGRATS.. *BLANKS OUT* WHERE THE FUCK IS MY COKE?!?!?!

  56. Who are these reference tracks for?

  57. drakes got two types of songs ones faggy and ones tight this is the faggy type

  58. its funny how back before a nigga got big, blogs and internet sites had drake’s nuts in a ninja death grip and since he blew up and got known, oh how times have changed. People want to criticize and talk about how he’s “soft” and “wack”. Same shit is happening to J.Cole, Big Sean, etc.. Anyways its whatever because if you think about it there are far more garbage ass rappers out right now but Drake is making the most buzz and he was once the internet darling so dudes wanna get mad, because he “sold out”. And if you think about it, like really really think about it.. Drake doesn’t suck, sure he changed, but the nigga doesnt suck. But who am i to say anything, and im sure this won’t change your opinion about the dude. lol

  59. @KC_Mafioso: Maybe this song is for Rita Ora (Roc Nation Artist).

^^^^ She is great, as well as his other artist: Bridget Kelly

  60. boys2dope, he’s doing something right if he’s got all these people going out of there way to comment on every single one of his posts. The irony is amusing.

  61. ladies………

  62. The Song’s dope but I’m always like “WTF?!” when I hear the lyrics. :D

  63. This song proves the point.
    Drake>>>>>J. Cole
    Im Ready For You>>>>>>Who Dat
And its a reference track smh

  64. Shake likes the fact that only men visit this site.

  65. i dont give a flying fuck what anyone says on this website, this song is a club banger and im pretty sure the fellas that listen to this already know this is written for a girl but when you play this during a party, will anyone even notice? exactly, go fuck yourselves

  66. @SixtyPlus obviously j. cole is the better rapper but you gotta give drake the edge here with songs like these, you cant compare club bangers to street singles, now you like a douchebag

  67. wait whats the difference?

  68. its for nicki or that other bitch in young money cus he says “im young money to the def i took the carter out”

  69. and that part was from a female point of view judging by the rest of the lyrics in the verse

  70. drake DID write a song for rihanna, but she didn’t use it. and thes does not sound official. the beginning is not the same? that sucks…

  71. So, wait, when it comes to club music, we can all agree that lyrics don’t matter at all? Because like Virginia_Rhymer said, no one will notice what the lyrics are even about if this is played at a club/party. What matters in this song is that the production is absolutely on point. This is actually one of the better songs I’ve ever heard from Drake music wise. It’s a shame that it had to be a reference track.

  72. wooow. i cant believe how wack this track is. this kind of club music sounds like the techno stuff from the 90s here in germany.
ironically only rightwing nazi kinda white trash people listened to it^^

  73. That shit is dope, Rihanna better get on it quick, this is where the money is at.

  74. In the rap part he mentions, “the baddest woman ever in the heart of the South..” IF I am to interpret that I would guess Ciara..
the “heart” of the South is Atlanta where Ciara is from..

  75. He actually said “And the hardest out..” Most likely this will be a Nicki song, sounds like her style, Drake’s gonna do the chorus

  76. Not to mention, the song is in both point of veiws, girl and boy…So it might hit some switch ups during the song

  77. lol @ everyone saying its for a girl. EVERY drake song is. Nigga is a sell out. Come on lets be 100. But to be honest it doesnt mean ppl cant relate to it and/or like it. Im not on the “Drake bandwagon” but good music is good music.

But def J Cole > Drake if u ask ME.
