  1. ludaaaaaaa

  2. im so fucking excited

  3. where phonte at?

  4. marz lovejoy?

  5. I JUST KNEW 9TH WOULDN’T PUT ANY OF HIS ARTISTS ON HERE. #SHRUGS

  6. yo, psssst… just shut the fuck up

  7. I agree with Meka on this one. All the best albums are the short ones. (i.e. Most Beatles albums, “Thriller”, etc.)

  8. why have all albums been short nowadayz. in my opinion thats one reason why people aint buyin records anymore. i understand quality over quantity but if i was a money hunger record exec then i would make my artist put like 16-19 songs on their album so the consumer can get more bang for their buck and i bet sales will go up

  9. I’m not really a fan of David Banner but ima check this out when it drops. I hope it brings out a more boom-bap side of Banner since 9th produced the whole thing.

  10. Sorry For Stealing This But “No Filla Just Killer”

  11. When does it drop?

  12. ^
In the 70′s n 80′s all albums had like 8-10 tracks Or less anything more was uncommon

  13. 9 great tracks are better than 16 and 6 of them are bullshit. 9th always kept it short for example all of the work with murs was short but really dope.

  14. Short track lists>>>>

  15. When’s the release date? Is there acutally one? You never know these days.

  16. short albums are alright when you really think you have CLASSIC MATERIAL & want to present it as such.

Nothing i’ve heard from this project has been even “good” though. it’s all been kinda mediocre, no strong chemistry between them so far. and that “name” & cover art are fucking atrocious… however, I will wait til it drops & can listen as a whole — the Erykah & Anthony Hamilton features got me interested again.

but Banner needs to do a project like this with Dj Shadow. they had waaaaaaaayyyyy better left field chemistry.

  17. lol at your whole comment @ thumper

this album sounds like its going to be very good.

  18. WHAT THE FUCK NO PLUMPER SMH HE WOULD BE NICE ON A 9TH BEAT

  19. yea album is short as fuck but it should be decent ……..people used to buy albums back when master p used to drop a double disc every rip

  20. & people don’t even realize when albums originated they were 5-6 tracks tops.

  21. i got to say I’d rather have 9 tight tracks then sixteen of guest spots skits and shit that should be given away on a mix cd

  22. Albums were short for a reason…doesn’t mean it should still be that way. How bout these fuckers make quality wit 16 songs??

  23. Not a big David Banner fan (except the Crooked Lettaz stuff), but I’ll check it out to see what he does w/ 9th.

And, a short tracklist doesn’t bother me. Too many artists drag their album out w/ 20 or so tracks and the shit gets boring and repetitive. Illmatic was only 10, The Roots’ Tipping Point was 10. A lot of classic old school albums had short tracklists. So, as long as it’s 9 solid tracks, I’m good w/ that.

  24. long ass wait and only 9 tracks+ we’ve heard 4 of them?? damn..

  25. why have all albums been short nowadayz. in my opinion thats one reason why people aint buyin records anymore. i understand quality over quantity but if i was a money hunger record exec then i would make my artist put like 16-19 songs on their album so the consumer can get more bang for their buck and i bet sales will go up

^^^Question is, do the average listener now have the attention span to listen to 16-19 songs?

  26. Thank you D. Science, no one really wants to listen to an album or a mixtape that is like 20 tracks long! After the first 10 good tracks the rest are usually filler, and towards the end they are usually wack!

  27. aside from the short tracklist, maybe i’m the only one who remembers when they said this was going to be a mixtape free for the people. I dont have a problem with paying for quality, but to put a price tag on some shit you said was for free is a dick move…ehhh that is just my opinion.

  28. looking fwd to this….release date?

  29. C’mon No Oj Da Juiceman?

  30. “Only nine tracks? That just means it has to have really, really quality product in my opinion”

^^^^^^i gotta agree… i aint never listen to david banner sides some singles he released over the year, but this collab with 9th and the short track list got me curious… imma havta check it out

  31. nice can’t wait to hear this. Hope that ain’t the cover tho. that shit ugly as hell

  32. Dam Whos That Guy Getting Ran Over.? Lmao

^damn stfu.. cant believe this dude come in every c-section just to post that shit lol.. ppl have issues

  33. Why isn’t Brian Pumper on this?

On the real though, the cover sucks, but the album should be great.

  34. No Big Remo feature on “Strange”?

  35. Big Remo is on ‘Strange’, just not listed.

  36. drops nov 09th according to prefix.com.

  37. “C’mon No Oj Da Juiceman?”

I said the exact same thing man … this album needs some Waka Flocka Flame to it
    BuuRhhhh
    hahaahahaahahaahahahahahaha

  38. I’m not a fan of these short albums cause to me all 9 of them songs better be bangers but even still I would prefer at least 12 – 14 songs cause I can almost guarantee I won’t like all 9 but I could be wrong.

Co-sign @ Aug_GA_boy I do remember this album was suppose to be a free album and now they are charging so it does feel like a dick more but these artists have to paid in some way (eventhough I’m going to still get it for free first lol but if it’s good I’ll go buy it I support good music)

^^^^^^^^^^^^Big Remo is 9th’s artist and he is on track 9. Plus he got Banner to do a lot of songs with his artist. My guess is that those tracks made it onto his artist’s albums instead of this one.

  40. there was a reason why he did 9 tracks he was saying something about that in an interview i just do not remember what that was

  41. At 9 tracks, this joint better be no more than 6.99 on itunes.

  42. I REALLY FUCKS WITH DAVID BANNER AND HIS WHOLE MOVEMENT. FUCK THE POP STARS THAT OUT HERE, THEY TAKIN OVER MINDS AND THEY PROMOTING THE WRONG SHIT. DAVID BANNER AND 9TH WONDERS’ EYES ARE OPEN, THEY AS I, SEE WHAT IS GOIN ON AND ARE ACTING AGAINST IT. MUCH RESPECT FOR 9TH WONDER, HE IS ONE OF FEW THAT HAS TAKEN HIS COLLEGE DEGREE AND BEGAN A WHOLE MOVEMENT.
-FROM AN INTELLIGENT FAN OF MUSIC-

  43. im proud of david banner for..not coming back to the real, cause it never left, but for showing that it was there the whole time and showing us the real side of hip hop
