  1. HAha.!! He killt that yo.!

  2. Now somebody out here in blogger world have the stupidity to say this kid is a gimmick or that he really cant flow crzy. He just ripped that, and it dont matter whether it was written or not. Cuz most rappers cant drop a verse like that period.

  3. yesss.. THAT IS HOW U FREESTYLE.. get em mac

  4. damn… O_O

  5. That freestyle was like Liu Kang Mortal Kombat Finishing Combo, Devastating.

  6. he sounds a lot like gucci mane, i dig it.

  7. This is how you freestyle. He killed it!

  15. thats wussup

  16. wow…he ripped that
now of course there will be haters saying he can’t flow or anything but this video is proof, this dude can spit.

  17. word up, i didn’t respect him as an artist until now. too many fools who just talk that shit and don’t actually have the abilities.

  18. Irving< nice stuff, but u need some work on your flow, also y the autotune?

  19. Classic

  20. thats clearly not how you freestyle cause it wasnt off the dome. and i dont think anyone can argue that. Mac miller is trasssh.

  21. Classic

Chris said this on August 15th, 2010 at 8:51 pm<< wat was classic?

  22. Rap is the opposite of the business world: white people have to work twice as hard as blacks to get their due. Mac’s putting in work to turn skeptics to believers.

  23. *goes to download mixtape after ignoring it*

  24. DAMN i havent heard him spit like this on any of his songs..

  25. he fucking ripped that shit..

  26. this mo fucka is amazing

  27. speech impediment

  28. ppl need to get shit straight there’s two types of freestyles

    1. Off the dome, not written rapped over a beat
    2. Written rhymes rapped over a beat, with a meaning/hook.

both are freestyles this would just be #2.

  29. freestyles are only off the dome. This is not freestyle but it’s still fucking dope

  30. real talk dudes that rap like this, that spit about chillin smokin pickin up hoes from the club need to pay homage to curren$y

  31. yeah sorry there aren’t two types of freestyle. freestyling is just that, free flowing off the dome. this isn’t bad though by any means.

  32. he got flow

  33. this dude spit a written… 90% of yall get off his dick already.

  34. dat lil white boy killed that shit

  35. @mh: and all these dudes need to pay homage to Devin the Dude

  36. Nice freestyle.
    The mixtape not so much.
I really tried to sit there and like it but it sux to me.

  37. dope freestyle! i need2 dl dat mixtape of his..

  38. Freestyle? Nope. Flow? Average. Swag? The worst.

Mac Miller, I’ll give you props for trying (you did memorize that verse pretty well), but sorry bruh you ain’t got it.

  39. yeah he is traaash…… he aint sayin shit.

  40. @MagnumOpus You couldn’t be more wrong. White rappers have like 7 times the potential fanbase. There are a million black emcees who can do this and will never get the same looks. The music industry has always made millions off of white artists repackaging black music for white audiences who like black music but “can’t relate” to black artists/people. White privilege is pervasive, even in hip hop.

  41. And that’s not to take anything away from talented white artists, thats just how it is. But this is average to me. Not sold.

  42. was it written? probably. Was it super lyrical? not that much. Does he have a nice delivery? no doubt. Can you judge him on swag?….da fuck, that is just weird. i cant recall supporting an artist due to there “swag,” shit sounds like you need a no homo. I like him, he has his lane and he doesn’t stray away from it. weed and bitches just like wiz and curren$y. His mixtape has some bangers and some shit i could do with out. he is alright.

  43. Mac’s got talent, that’s for sure, and I see a lotta potential in him. Kid’s only 18 and doin’ it, you gotta give him props for that. But I highly doubt this was a freestyle (as should most). Most rappers go into a radio interview knowing they might/will get asked to kick some bars, and thus, are mentally prepared to do so. Now whether it’s really a freestyle or written is up to the artist, but to save face (and to maintain an image) all emcees will have raps stored in the back of their mind for such situations. Still though, big ups to Mac Miller.

  44. He can rap but his lyrics are just the epitome of average. He’s Asher Roth with more talent.

  45. This was good, but the guy is seriously AVERAGE. Its like I want to get into him, but just can’t… He has nothing solid behind him yet. I appreciate the drive though. I guess time will tell. Maybe his new found 15 mins will get him connected to people who will help him out.

  46. Mac miller is aight…. they had the nerve to put a jay-z beat on im tight…the only white boys to ever kill a jay-z beat was EM AND GASHI http://www.encorestatus.com/

  47. wow, he can actually spit

  48. i over looked this before. i am now convinced. dude can spit
