Sometimes when I listen to slug I just think how fucking great he is and vomit a little because i can relate to him so well. it’s like, he’s like us but he’s better than us too, you know? this is without a doubt the best song i’ve ever heard by any musician/rapper/deity in my entire life. it’s soooo dope that atmosphere is getting money without selling out. To the haters who say this song is too “happy” or “corny” or “pandering” or “unnecessary” or “emo” or anything short of FANTASTIC, just remember he had a REALLY hard time with lucy.

First new song, already better than all of the when life gives you lemon stuff put together, I like this, Atmosphere, all time favorites.
First off, I love Atmos, but really don’t dig this track (or “When Life Gives You Lemons…” for that matter). Not that it’s bad music, just not what I expect from the cats that gave us “God Loves Ugly” and “Lucy Ford”.
Second, all this racism talk is HILARIOUS to me! Doesn’t anybody else out there realize that Slug is half black and half white??? That’s right everybody, his daddy was black! But I hear his dad hated white rappers, too.

Good Listen. I’ve been a fan for nearly 12 years now and whats cool about Slug is he’s grown with his fans or maybe the other way around. He’s always stayed true to himself and fans alike, even with the success he’s stays grounded. I went from a wanna be thug-break dancing-graph-writer, had my dopey drunk phase, rock phase, and now I’m a husband and father and work for an auditing firm. After all that I never went through a phase where I couldn’t relate with Atmos. He’s a great musician and song-writer, rapper too but, some of his stuff is timeless. His music relates to people, other rappers relates to fantasy.
