I really likee XV, but signing to Warner Brothers is kind of a risky move, but you know what? Even if it doesn’t work out, he leaves after getting a little experience, and signs somewhere else. Dude is young and has more rapping talent than Wiz, and that isn’t hate, cuz I like Wiz too, but lets be honest, XV is just a better lyricist and with Sevens production, I can honestly see him blowing up ala Drake and 40.

Can’t we shut the fuck up about album sales? Seriously setting people up to fail with those expectations. Take a look at record sales of the last year and then notice who the top sellers are. It’s always the same fucking people and the ones that are hyped to the fullest extent (Drake, Jay-Z, etc)
Even a lot of the the big names have trouble pushing units.
Stop playing, if you like the music then bump it. You shouldn’t need record sales to enjoy it. And if his music doesn’t sell he won’t be a failure, we just live in a time when CDs are becoming obsolete (ESPECIALLY in hip hop)

I take that back, they were both on Complex Experiment mixtapes…same difference. The Complex Experiment mixtapes were compilations of songs that were throwaways from his Album “Complex”, released in ’06. And those mixtapes were released BEFORE the album release, which means those songs were written AT LEAST in ’06, if not ’05
