The year: 1996. While some heads were with the cousin of death, wrapped up on Reasonable Doubt & All Eyez On Me, I was walking into thrift stores, lifting a Sony walkman, then proceeding to Tower Records to further lift some tapes. One of them being Bronx representative Nine’s sophomore Cloud 9 album. This was by far one of my favorite joints off that LP. The sample is so ill that I’ve included that as well (320-rip). Check for the video after the jump.

No need to lie and act like you were some tough liitle kid when you were young. We all know you probably had your mommy buy that walkman and those tapes for your birthday.

information for my own blog. Thanks!
This album is one of my all time bangers! The production was STUPID and Nine was def a solid rapper. Plus, I stole this tape from Tower records in Boston back in Sept of ’96, too. Haha! Tried to buy the CD on Amazon couple of years back and it was sum’n crazy like $60. Kinda wish you didn’t post the original. Always thought it sounded like a scene from some late 80′s car chase scene or some shit. How i never seen this video and Lyin King was gettin crazy love on YO! MTV Raps and Rap City?
Never heard this but I was hoping for a verse from the “Transmitter, North Carolina vagina hitter”…
