  2. I remember hearing audio from a radio show at the end of January where Jay and Just were talking about why Act II was late. They said it was cuz Nas didn’t get them his verses for it and that they just needed to throw those in to finish it up. How the hell does it take 7 months and it still isn’t out? Damn, I just want to hear that shit already.

For all we know he could be working on an album but it seems like he’s not, he too busy doing shows full of old ass material…for all that grind and all the places he’s been in the past behind this music shit that he always talks about in interviews it seems like he scared of the hype he’s built around himself now. Dude got too many good artists/producers at his disposal to not be at least some what definitive on some kind of project dropping in the future.

  41. Here’s what I don’t get: Dude has more tracks floating around the net than most rappers put out their whole career. At least 2 albums worth. But cats complains they can’t cosign till he drops THE album. This doesn’t just go for Jay, but for a whole slew of other dudes.

    In the new rap economy, who the fuck cares if you drop an official album or not? Y’all are just going to bootleg it anyway. The money’s made touring, which is what dude is clearly focused on right now. My only complaint is the lack of any new material in the last few months.

    Imagine Biggie dropped his two albums as mixtapes and then got shot, would he be any less dope?
