Easily one of the best releases of 2010. Gibbs is throwback to the golden era of rap. Not that covers matter, but the ode to Peter Tosh’s Equal Rights is a good look too. Props to the man…dude is on his grind.

This is not an underground hip hop website by any means. Gucci Mane, Joe Budden, Asher Roth, T.I., Young Jeezy, and saturated threads full of R&B music does not classify as underground hip hop. You are obviously shopping in the wrong place.

2dope may post an occasionally hard to find “underground” hip hop song but primarily this site is used for the Devs, i.e. Shake, Meka, etc, so this site is a reflection of their personalities and music they like. Henceforth, alot of Joe Budden & Asher Roth posts, because this is Shakes to favorite artists.
Anyway, point being this is NOT an underground website. At some points its actually a semi-commercial website. I say this becuase there has been times where the blog has had a page or two with Ciara, Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, and Game posts. I do not classify any of these artists remotely close to underground/abstract/conscious/creative hip hop. Dont get it twisted its a good site, but if your looking for underground hip hop and complaining, its because your looking in the wrong spot.
