After completing three successful mixtape’s and earning a 2009 MTV VMA Nomination, Recording Artist RatheMC who recently signed with Studio 43 (a record label headed by music veteran Kenny Burns) is in the middle of a “living in the moment summer.” With a video in rotation on VH1 with Lady A, being featured in Sprite’s “The Spark” National Campaign along with Drake and finishing up her debut album entitled Heart Of a Champion. It looks to be that after nearly a decade of career highs and lows, RatheMC has proven to be one thing and that’s a Champion.

the track is decent. but I shook my head as soon as i heard L-Boogie’s voice….because RahtheMC….used Lauryn Hill”s “Lost Ones” on her last video..originally titled “Lost Ones”..lol…smh . and now the new single is ANOTHER lauryn Hill spin off again… i dont get it.. i can respect a tribute/paying homage. Yea Im trying to support more Female’s. She was the only young female I could find that is somewhat established and has atleast some buzz with some lyrical skill, that has the slightest chance of going mainstream. I now dont see that happening.
So far the only female emcee Im looking forward to is Marz LoveJoy who feature in Pac Div’s Shine. She got skills, but so far all she has is Youtube Video’s of her rapping. She says she is working on her mixtape. No idea how long its going to take, but thats about all I have to look forward to when it comes to young female emcee’s.
Everybody else is already established.
But Ra has potential though. Thats still alot in comparison to alot of femcee’s.
