Saigon is trash lyrically and Papoose can’t write a decent song. Papoose is a classic case of a mixtape rapper, he has no idea how to structure a song. Btw is Papoose working out with A-Rod? Dude was skinny as hell a few months ago and now he look like a football player? lol

1- word to papoose comments… i was heavy into him back in the day (i guess its when i first got into underground music), but he really dont know how to write a song n i stopped listenin to him years ago… whatever
2- i have/had high expectations for saigons LP, wtf… why wont that shit just drop already on some independent shit… i remember there was a sampler even n it sounded good… i kinda forgot about him but hes still pretty ill… hopefully the greatest story never told gets told one day…

Y’all can say whatever you want. You can say they’re washed up, you can say people don’t care about them (which is not true at all). The reality is, Hip Hop is still waiting on and supporting them. This show is evidence of that. People still come to see them, no matter how long it’s been. The people showed up. The place was packed. But you guys are so consumed with disliking them, you don’t even see that.
Hip Hop didn’t abandon or desert them. You fly by night, fickle, so-called fans did. That’s the problem with you hip hop fans today. Too busy looking at the top floor instead of the bottom. And the top isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. It ain’t sweet up there. It just looks like it. And the bottom floor ain’t all bad, broke, and filled with nobodies.
You know, this is sad to me. I’m a female, and I know more abour “real” Hip Hop, than you guys do. Y’all complain about how fake Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, Gucci Mane and other rappers along those lines are, and how Drake is just messing up the game for all enternaty. Y’all whine about how bad off Hip Hop is today. But yet, you guys turn around and dismiss and write off, the rappers like Pap and Saigon, who are talented, who do have something of good substance to say, that we as black people need to hear. They aren’t just promoting the gangsterisum.
Then again, I’m not surprised. Again, I pay attention to the bottom floor, not that top. I keep my ear to the real streets, not my friends and internet streets LOL. Anyway, this just shows me, you guys don’t listen to these rappers like you say you do. They pretty much went in one ear and out the other with you guys. Well, I’m glad I research and do my homework on what I listen to. And the rappers that put out the records.
And they say, us females only care about shaking our a$$ and how cute these rappers are. How rich they are. Us ladies don’t care about the music. Well, I’m proof that, that stereotype isn’t true at all. But you so-called Hip Hop men, may need some re-evaluation. I’m just saying.
