  17. I think this is pretty dope imo. Obviously he’s somewhat rolling with the electronic trends out there, but his stuff is always distinctive. It stands out. I don’t see the reason to hate on that.

    His voice IS unique, but not in a bad way. His voice and the production always fit together, which a lot of singers have problems with.

    Not sure why some people hate on Shake or Meka for putting up tracks that aren’t hip-hop. If anything they are doing you guys a service by showing you artists in other genres you MIGHT like. Honestly, NOBODY should listen to one genre of music. It’s too limiting.

    Without Shake, Mayer Hawthorne wouldn’t have hit my musical radar, but now he is and I really enjoy his music. Same with Anjulie and a couple others. Variety is important peoples. Thanks Shake.

  20. I like that Shake and Meka mixes it up a little bit every once in a while though. I like to be informed of other talents out side of Hip-Hop. I think Diversity is the best business venture anyone can take. Diversity will be the entity that keeps them relevant and keeps them bringing in new visitors.

    So keep up the Diversity Shake & Meka. I know Meka be up on that Reaga, Meka how come you dont put us up on some of that shit? lol.

    I’ve listened to a LOT of his shit, actually had Smoke and Drive on the laptop at one point based on recommendation from a friend, but I can’t dig it/him cause personally I just don’t think he can sing. I’m a kid/student too (I’m 20) and know plenty of people who do the music thing while going to school (albeit smaller scale cause Posner tours and shit) and while I respect it and his work he puts in that doesn’t change the way his voice or music sounds to me. Like I said, no hate.
