I’m not trying to hate, but when i say “overly hiphopish” what i mean is THIS particular track from an artist whose new, coming out with a track like this TODAY is so traditional in format that it’s bland and nondistinctive TO ME. If i wanted to hear this type of hip hop ill listen to ill matic or hieroglyphics. I mean come on this dude is probably in my age group. I like progressive music, i guess that makes me a moron huh?

First of all you shouldn’t comment on an artist music especially if you have no knowledge of their history (so let me school you). K Sparks has been around for a minute, and dude makes all types of music. So when you refer to an artist making a “track like this…TODAY” it means nothing. The whole purpose of being an artist is to create a body of work. Doesn’t matter what you feel playboy, because at the end of the day there is always a market for all kinds and types of music (regardless of the vibe) such as new school, old school, rock, and etc. To summarize you sound ignorant. And simply put good music is good music regardless, and is timeless. When people listen to Luther Vandross no one says “this is dated” instead they appreciate good music for what it is regardless of the time period it was created. Wake up son and stop gettin caught up in the music Matrix. EZ
