Ross is one album away from entering the pantheon of rap greats. Port of Miami was okay, but Trilla, Deeper Than Rap, and Teflon Don put his catalog up there will the best of them. Most of the Ross haters don’t like him because he lied about being a CO and/or because he was a CO. I understand that line of thinking, but Ross’s music is unquestionably good.
MOST RAPPERS LIE AND EXAGGERATE. If you can’t suspend your need for everything to be “real”, you may as well not listen to rap. It’s just entertainment.

@coolsville and @Warrenhae he most likely had a verse already written a while back pertaining to the free mason Illuminati subject matter that was unused and decided use it on the ross joint cuz it is highly unlikely that he came up with that verse that quick check the facts very few artist can come up with strong verses that stick to the subject matter that quick and i highly doubt that the blue print was recorded in a weeks time especially when he had all those producers on there and thinking up song concepts choruses i swear some of you guys need to actually get in the studio and see how records are cut then your perspective will change drastically
nice song. Beat is ill, content is nice and Jay went in as usual. Why do they Judge Jay? I thought only god can judge us. The man stated he’s not a Mason and I will go with that—–I Ain’t GOD nor anyone else is but I cannot judge the Jay. I think the verse is hot and you gotta love it. I would felt the same way if “Rumors of Lucifer…” seems to follow you when you are high than anyone else. Yeah I agree with maddix that Jay-Z was probably already tinkering with this verse before he decided to use it with Ross. When he was recording the verse he was most likely seeing how to place it to the beat. I do believe that Jay-Z doesn’t write down his rhymes tho. Sometime it might take him a long time to actually do a record. I know I heard that it took him and Biggie 3 days to actually do the “Brooklyn’s Finest” track.
