  1. God damn, dude. I keep trying to give your articles a chance but they’re always jarringly amateurish. You start a sentence in the first paragraph with “But.” Smh so hard. You can’t expect to be taken seriously if this is what you put forth as an example of your professional writing.

    Also, if you’re constantly saying “don’t get me wrong” or “this will be taken the wrong way,” try getting your fucking point across correctly so people don’t have to read the entire article wondering if they understand what you’re trying to say.

  2. The rules of writing are pretty much meant to be broken…Good writing is about rhythm, not archaic rules…there are a lot of great writers who have started plenty of sentences with the word “BUT”, so maybe you should shape up…i’m just saying

    Um, July just started. The year is only half over.

    Meka’s so salty & apparently still in denial about Nas’ nail-on-the-head-firestarting-statement that Hip Hop is Dead on the album of the same name that he nervously brings it up to defend his joy of R&B music? What? Just no.

    The best part about Meka’s writing is the fact that he feels himself so much yet doesn’t see how not-confident his incohesive schizo rants rants are.
