Like I’ve said before, all we need is for D’Angelo to come out of hiding and the cypher will be complete.Anyways, while at the UCLA Jazz Reggae Festival in Los Angeles, Kamaal and Tigallo spoke on their history and respect for Bilal’s music, as well as his upcoming album, Airtight’s Revenge dropping September 14th via Plug Research. As a bonus, the cover art and tracklisting can be found down bottom.

cudi just let this track go via facebook
D’Angelo’s Brown Sugar album is easily one of my favorite albums of all time. Beginning to end listen, no problems. Too bad he got all fucked up on that white. He’s apparently has that “DMX-driving-ability” too. He recently got picked up for soliciting a hooker for some head too (who was actually a cop). Damn shame.
I can’t wait for this album its gonna be crazy!! Bilal is one of the most creative artists today and now that he has free reign over his sound I can’t imagine how amazing this album is gonna be. It’s awesome to see how much respect he gets from his peers.
Ironic that on Phonte’s vid Dilla’s So Far to Go with D’Angelo is in the background. To me they (Bilal & D) represent what male soul singers should be doing. Not talking about handbags or mediocre renditions of Purple Rain.
^ word.
i will buy this album. It’s time to support someone who done so much for damn near everybody. this will be the first album bought for myself since Lupe-Food & Liquor!
I was hopin for Phonte and Q-Tip to collaborate with Bilal for this album but I might cop it depending on whether the G.O.O.D. Music Day pulls through.
Soulquarians (period)
phonte just took the words out of my mouth dudes voice is so ill its ridiculous it would be ill for him and daniel merriweather to do a collab
