Dres has been running solo with the Black Sheep name for almost 5 years, so…not exactly a revelation of thought?
again, i agree with the dopehouse on this one. everytime i’ve seen duke in the last handful of years (spitkicker, handsome boy tour, etc), he’s been billed as dres (of black sheep)….key words being “of black sheep.” same with his music.

The last album was really dope & it was called Black Sheep. Mista Lawnge didn’t do shit on it, Vitamin D, Showbiz, & others did all the beats. I’m not sure that Mista Lawnge EVER really did much. Kinda like Eric B in “Eric B & Rakim” (& no, Eric B didn’t do those beats, Marley Marl & others did). I don’t see what the big deal is if Dres wants to keep the name alive & Mista Lawnge doesn’t wanna be a part of it.
mr. lawnge & dres as black sheep had never been a strong duo like erick & parrish or guru & premier… mr.lawnge wasn’t even that present on a wolfs in sheep’s clothing! so whats all this fuckery with dres is not black sheep?! when i listen to the last and the new album… there is noone missing! dres IS the black sheep!

I didn’t realize he also does stand-up until he shockingly showed up on stage. He’s actually pretty damn funny!
