Not every emcee has to put fucking Einsteins Theory of Relativity in their verses to be dope. I love “lyrical” hip-hop, that doesn’t mean I can’t listen to chill easy riding music either.
Curren$y comes with lyrics too, his delivery is an acquired taste though. Not every rapper has to have Lupe-esque lyrics or cheesy one liners to be dope.

Complex Says: The first thing that stands out is the beat. It’s a repetitive, but catchy loop with heavy bass. We didn’t really catch the verses too well, but it’s hard to focus when there’s so many hoes and so much weed smoke in the air—both in the song and at the listening. Not that we’re complaining. Shit knocks regardless.

Meanwhile, Curren$y departed and has been doing his thing with a smooth ass flow, one of the most loyal fanbases you’ll find, and now he’s making tracks with Jay Electronica & Mos Def. I think…..yeah, Curren$y won.
@darryle because spitta knows how to rap about that shit and his flow with his songs are crazy imo. Plus I think he has a great ear for beats which you can’t say for other rappers.
