    obv i’m not saying the camera thing is the ONLY reason…its a small thing in the big picture but it speaks to the real issue–everyone is participating, whether they are a manager, journalist, promoter, hypeman, make mixtapes, whatever…which means 1) everyone in the spot is there at least somewhat for business rather than the music/a good time, and 2) not enough folks are just Fans anymore…

    and really i dont think hip hop sucks in 2010. theres tons of dope shit. just more bullshit to wade through and distract you before you get to the goods.

    Yea, I think that’s part of the reason why they keep switching up the final tracklist (and therefore pushing the release back). I got a promo copy of the album to review a couple weeks ago, and when I went to this very party last night, the tracks/sequence were completely different. The insert artwork was hanging up on the wall though, so I copied down (what i assume is) the final tracklist. You can check it out over at my spot by clicking my name.
