Every member in Slaughterhouse suffers from the samething and that is the inability to make a ‘hit’ record. Every member of Slaughterhouse has been around for 10 years and “Pump It Up” is the ‘best’ single any of them have to their names (which is embarrassing). By the way that song is 7 years old and none of them have come close to releasing a single that anybody cares about since then. Slaughterhouse reminds me of those old past their prime athletes who think they ‘still got it’ and keep hanging onto something that isn’t there. It’s one thing to do music for the love it but it’s totally different to claim you’re “dope” when you’re 34 still ‘trying to make it’.
