@Rich S. Although this is quite dope and Em has been for a very long time, Recovery was quite disappointing.
I downloaded the leak, and I actually thought that at first (and second) listen too, but my boy was so hype off of it, he made me go back and really listen, and he kept quoting all of these sick lines and I was like, “yoooo what song is that from!?” a million times, so I finally decided to take a different approach and really really listen and vibe out to the album, and I absolutely love it now man. I’m not feeling a few songs, and the hooks on other songs, and the beats on other songs, but OVERALL, I’m pretty happy with the outcome, and certainly can’t wait to purchase it for the sake of supporting it, and because I’ve been a long-time Eminem fan and that’s just how I do.
Mr. Porter kind of sucks. Eminem definitely proved he is a better emcee than Royce, just breathe control and delivery.
I dunno Royce first verse had me “Rewinding 5 or 6 times” as he says…
