Just like Diddy is creative poison, money can have the same effect. In an article, J Cole said he’s trying to remain humble and hungry to preserve the quality of his music; and lyrically, Cole’s still doing his thing. Truth is, that over-produced (over synthetic) beat isn’t even close to Warm Up quality.
Cole needs to phone up Ski Beatz, 9th Wonder, Statik Selektah, Jake One, and some other good sampling producers. Don’t throw that major label money at a new wardrobe and club appearances. Invest that money in some reputable, not popular but reputable, production.
