  9. One of the best album covers, and probably a top 5 rap album. Cube was to the early nineties what Eminem is now. Only, his music was a little more intelligent. He provoked the establishment and opened people’s eyes. People talk about ‘oh give Drake or whoever a break, they’re young etc.’ A lot of people don’t realize dude was only 20 yrs old when he made Amerikkka’s Most Wanted. And he damn near took over the rap game from that point. Imagine that shit happening today.

  10. Its not about give them a break, they are young. Its like this…when he dropped that album, it wasn’t really out of the blue. All that shit was in the atmosphere then. Look around you…Drake’s whole swag, steeze, and ways are in the atmosphere. He represents the times. This is what the people want. Back then, Ice Cube’s rebel, revolutionary talk was what the people wanted and needed.

Now we got a black president, Oprah’s damn near a billionare and the culture is different. Nigga dont need and want the same thing. The Cosbys aint just a show anymore, it’s real.

  11. And you can take that however way you want to, but it’s the truth. Meanwhile still niggas are hurting in the hood. And still Kanye came out 2004 and changed Hip Hop on some other shit. He opened the gates for the south to have acts like “black boy white boy swag”. He made those polos, and Esquire from ATL movie niggas part of the culture in a real way.

…Maaan!! Fuck it – I dont even wanna talk about this hip-hop shit anymore. Lets talk about what is going on around us if you dont like the state of hip hop.
