  5. Weak sauce.

  6. that “For the kill” beat is really dope tho. Props to that producer. Would be a dope record for the Clipse or Rick Ross.

  7. OJ Da Juiceman = Instant Download lol

    Aye Aye…!

  8. downloading strictly for country cool. don’t really fuck with donnis but yela and pill are sick.

  9. wait isn’t he comin with a mixtape and ep on the 22nd and he just released a whole mixtape today? I like donnis and I understand he wants to get his buzz goin strong but don’t overload em, cats need to be on their pac div shit and drop off a dope mixtape, say the name of the next one, then never mention it again then drop it outta nowhere

  10. I remember I thought donnis’ first mixtape was just okay… but there was a couple songs on there that went super hard, so I guess I’ll download this.

  11. Heard the track with Mickey Factz leak on the net in mid april but without Cyhi the Prince on it. Gonna peep the tape when it gets reuploaded here.

  12. retagged and reupped. enjoy.

  13. WOW. THIS IS A REALLLY BAD TAPE. Diary of an atl brave was dope. this is a joke. how on earth this cat make the freshmen list?

  14. Really startin’ 2 worry about this guy…

  15. Hmmmm I downloaded the mediafire link and track 6 was corrupt. I’ll redownload one more time and see if that works.

  16. Yeah just downloaded it again and once again 06 – Aquemini Freestyle.mp3. The file is corrupt

  17. been waiting on this. these bad reviews are making me nervous

  18. he should have never touched aquemini

  19. I fucking hate all mixtapes, thank you…

  20. Yeah. There’s just shit – tons of hate in this bitch. Wooow. Yo, y’all think it THAT awful? Yikes.

  21. Just tried downloading for a third time, and once again same file track 6 is corrupt.Help us out Shake!

  22. This nigga is wack

  23. DONNIS!

    dl

  24. @prettyboypaul “for the kill” samples “in for the kill” by la roux, check this version http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CFW4LqsTPO0&feature=related

  25. First tape was tight. This is decent upon first listen. Not as bad as people are saying.

  26. Needlz definatly saw STS version of In For the Kill than sampled it

  27. Donnis is good. People are unhappy with their own lives.

  28. ooo ya and STS version is better

  29. still like Donnis just think this mixtape was a disappointment ATL Brave

  30. after ATL Brave

  31. donnis blows and always will. he sounds like the atl young berg who cant rap

  32. He said he made this in 3 days…well it sounds like it. Still anticipating Fashionably Late tho.

  33. only downloading for the curtains joint.

  34. yall jus downloading for the yella and curtians joints, u can download individual cuts from the tape at livemixtapes.com

  35. i fuck w/ donnis, but wow… he came out sounding incredibly cocky in that intro. waaay too much

  36. After listening to this tape…OJ DA JUICEMAN killed that Pop bubbly track, that nigga is the FUTURE.

(I don’t know what’s wrong with me HA)

  37. Okay, what the fuck I think this tape goes pretty fucking hard…Especially considering he’s got a legit album coming out right around the corner. C’mon even the naysayers have to admit that there are couple of songs that go super hard. I’m starting to believe that not everyone listened to the entire tape.

  38. donnis sucks n so do u if u like this garbage

  39. just add water, WET!! link to one of the best non-hype, unsigned original Hip Hop artist of 2010 http://www.datpiff.com/pop-mixtape-player.php?id=mb4d946e

  40. “I DIED” http://usershare.net/8ex5lowbc6iu SONG IS REAL DEEP AND INSPIRING. REAL HIP HOP! NO BULLSHSS. HE A DEEP RAPPER.

  41. This tape is dope. Solid. Patiently waiting for more Donnis. Keep doin’ it. This shit goes hard! Everyone else is sleeping. Go listen to Thank Me Later you haters. YOU know he don’t write his raps. Check that direct message from his TWEETS.

  42. man,i like true hip hop always, and sometimes i need this cool stuff, donnis make always some cool shit

  43. Dang, a lot of Donnis hate. I think he is cool though.

  44. donnis is easily one of the weakest freshmen…lets just say if it was 7 or 8 instead of 10 he prolly wouldnt have made that list just being honest. this isnnt the WORST tape ever, but he’s just really not as impressive as XXL and some blogs make ‘em out to be. diarty of an atlanta was better.

  45. Why do I get the feeling that the people posting hate are actually part of donnis’s crew just generating hype? Cause honestly a couple tracks show promise.

“Dark Cave” and “Yup” are decent and “New School” caught my interest as well. Your mileage may vary with this mixtape, but its a mixtape. I paid more attention to potential than kinetic on this one.

  46. Ridiculous how much hate this guy gets. He’s got some serious energy on his tracks and he’s fun to listen to. He won’t blow my mind but fuck that’s not all I’m trying to hear. Some bloggers really need to loosen up, get some beer, call some bitches, play some party music, and enjoy yourselves for once.
ALL THIS HATING IS NOT GOOD FOR YOU!
I’m up to Dark Cave and I’m enjoying it.

  47. I think this is one of the few sites that has faith in this Donnis cat. WHen i hear others speak on this man they say he’s trash. I think his raps are super weak and yet and still he’s gettin his shine on. Am i missin sumthn? Is trash the new crack?

  48. I’ll check it out.

Still against that Aquemini debacle though.

  49. ^Lmao

  50. Damn, I don’t even wanna download it now. But when I first saw the XXL Freshman ’10 list I saw his name and I was like, “Him? Really?” Personally, I think he was just filler. Jay Electronica(I mean if Curren$y made it on and he’s not exactly new), OJ Da Juiceman deserved to be there more than him. Waka Flocka too.(It hurts, it’s true tho.) I’ll give it a listen tho.

  51. Okay this tape was pretty weak….flush that this joint was flat out slack. I was worried about ahki once I heard them joints he dropped on that equally disappointing 10 for 10 mixtape XXL threw together. Looks like he’s on that swag over substance tip. If I want that I’ll listen to Wiz/Curren$y they actually do swag rap quite well and with skill and more often than not remain interesting while doin’ so. That ain’t Donnis’ lane, do what got you on, folk. Not sayin’ ol’ boy was on some “conscious” iddish on ATL Brave but he was hungry. I see no hunger, no effort, no quality control.

  52. Skewby>>>Donnis…peep Provin’ Them Wrong Since 88 and you’ll see

  53. never listened to this guy but this tape is pretty good.. a different vibe for sure.

  54. Needlz jacks samples hard: For The Kill jacked from STS’ mixtape, Yup jacked from JD Era’s mixtape

  55. Alot of niggas compare Donnis and Skewby.. I dont see it.

  56. *downloads* I really hope this is better than his first mixtape

  57. His first mixtape was great. I loved his first mixtape. I havnt gotten around to listening to this tape yet, because I just got on Stalley, then you got Tacklebox, then Tabi Bonnie droped his first mixtape. And then I got other Mixtapes from months ago I still havnt gotten to.

But come on people. We all know Donnis isnt the best rapper coming out. But he is at the least decent and at best decent. All I know is he better than a lot of dudes out now. Now I know what Donnis is Capable of and what he has put out since his first mixtape isnt really what he ca do lyrically. But his path isnt to change his path is to keep people interested in new talent. Just like Drakes Job was to kick in the door and let mothafuckas know that there is better shit out there. And I have come to grips with Nikki Minaj having the job of kickstarting an interest in new female emcee’s.

So you dont have to like Donnis, But know Donnis is close to blow and when he does more people will be interested in new shit.

  58. eh… this guy is nothing special I really look forward to hearing his new shit everytime and I always end up disappointed… Just like this mixtape.
