real nigga fuck whoever hate it
*DEAD* at him telling white people to stay on beat.
LOL that shit was funny as hell and it’s real hard to get a bunch of white college students to rock with you when you’re an up and coming hip hop artist. Nigga straight straight up said I have no fans. lol
Now it would just be nice if Simba would actually release some new music. Waiting until the end of August (at the earliest) to release his album is a big mistake if he isn’t planning on dropping another tape or something. His buzz was super high and it’s slowly dying off.
^have some faith dog j.cole is gonna do his thing
Snagz doesn’t know what he’s talking about. Cole has pleanty of hype. I’d rather wait to hear the super hot album than get a bunch of new music that he put together in a week
“One more time white people”
*Dead*
lol ,j cole is a open mc ,wheres the problem?? Charles Darwin says this is a good way to be a mc accordin his theory
hahahah yo i love how he made the concert a damn personal experience.
keep killin it j. cole
man jcole is half white… he’s fucking around with the white people. relax lol
sadly in reality dawg i don’t even know her.
Had no idea J.COLE was this good a performer, this shit was funny, connected with the people well.
LOL, “stay on beat”, “what does that mean?”
but i like that shit that he brought up a fan that knows his words to perform with him… cool stuff ferreal
@OnTheRun actually I do know what I am talking about. I been a fan of Cole for a long time now and all you have to do is look around on the internet or in the streets. A few months ago Cole was everywhere and now the only place I really see him mentioned is on here or a couple other hip hop sites. When you stop releasing music people stop mentioning you and eventually they forget you.
seemed fun
lol cole was messin with every one, he dissed white ppl asians blacks n even specifically said stay away from harlem its all jokess seemed cool
@ Snagz thats the problem wit hip-hop, rappers keep puttin out songs, miztapes, and raps over other peoples beats, it was cool for a min but know its startin to get old. we need more good quality albums.
and its prob good that his buzz is dyin cuz once the album drops its gonna hit a bunch of niggaz upside their head
^^ that theory only works if you already ESTABLISHED yourself. Somebody like Jay-Z or Lil Wayne can go a long time not releasing music and then drop an album that gets a lot of buzz. Cole hasn’t done anything in the game yet, he only has 2 mixtapes to his name. He acts like he has been established for years talking about he doesn’t want to oversaturate people. I mean is he serious? That is just sign of misguided arrogance and he is going to regret it. He is on the come up and he should be living in the studio, not doing college shows performing songs that are a year or two old. He says his album drops in August but where is the title? album artwork? tracklist? possible features? All those things get released a month or two before an album drops. He has no buzz anymore and he is doing NOTHING to promote his album. It would also be nice for Jay to actually do something to get the dude some more shine and that’s another thing Cole is going to regret. Signing with Jay was his first and probably biggest mistake he ever made in his life so far.
how do u figure he is arrogant? all of these interviews that he has done he is always sayin that he feels like he hasnt arrived yet and he jus seems like a humble dude and the fact that u know that he doesnt have an album title or tracklist proves that u have been followin him to know that much so all of his interviews are payin off. how many times has an artist gave us there album title, tracklist, etc and their album still came out a year later i.e. Wale, a lil mystery is good. J Cole is fine jus listen to someone else to hold u over. jus be patient damn!
and if u really think about all of the people that like J Cole’s music are not the dumb fans that jus like the #1 radio pop hit, in that case then yeah u gotta keep up a buzz. J Cole’s music is deeper then that so his fans are more mature and know the deal
that was dope. dudes mad entertaining
LOL snagz… you be the same nigga saying drake played himself out by releasing too much… niggas these days, can’t just appreciate an artist taking his/her own path.
I have to completely agree with Snagz. J. Cole needs to stop worrying about flooding everyone with material. That’s Jay Electronica’s problem too. In this day and age to survive and make the come up from underground artist to a well-known and established artist, you must keep some type of recent material out there, and it better be good.
You have to do both. That’s how Wayne had to do it. Wayne had a new tape out every 2 weeks back when he was doing the Drought mixtapes, and it was good material. Another artist most people on this site like is Curren$y. How many tapes does Curren$y have? I think about 9 or so. And he released them pretty close together, then he has the Creative Control and the 24 Hour Karate School stuff he’s doing, along with Pilot Talk, and some features. Now, that’s being on the grind. You have to do that or it’ll be just like Snagz said, you won’t be on anyone’s mind.
if any of you are real fans and believe that J.Cole is gonna go far, then support him as much as you can. Request Who Dat at your local radio stations. Buy his songs on itunes. Anything that will help. His buzz is slowly rising. I know its not much, but its a great start. “Who Dat” is currently on the Billboard Hot 100 chart at 93…http://www.billboard.com/#/charts/hot-100?begin=91&order=position
lets at least get him to top 20 or top 30
ppl need to recognize what we have already & will continue to
there is hope

j cole a legend in the making.
I hear “Who Dat” play on Hot97 all the time, and still non on really talks about J. Cole.
AirRaid I cannot disagree more… as soon as he “builds his buzz” you guys will be the same people tearing him down, saying he changed for the mainstream and all that bullshit. Let him build his fan base how he desires, he is signed to Roc Nation so you know he’ll be touring. You don’t have to sell big to have a dope career. I’m much more concerned about the quality than the quantity.
His style isn’t built for mainstream success, and as soon as ya’ll understand that you will appreciate the nigga even more.
cole need to throw a concert in the midwest damn it
this nigga hasn’t released a song in the LONGEST
@ JonnieHayward2 EXACTLY even if he did release another mixtape before his album it wouldnt help his buzz much cuz the only people who are gonna download it are the people who already fuck wit him. And even when he drops his album people are still gonna sleep and not get it till his 3rd album, no one artist can please everybody. Let J Cole do J Cole
Hip hop NEEDS him to blow up.
j cole might just be like outkast..a slowly and steady building fan base and then on like his 9th year in the industry everybody sings his praises. but who knows.
wish him the best anyhow.
crowd interaction was good…
Damn, Cole’s still that dude.
WTF?!!! do a L.I. college campus tour!!!!!!
WTF?!!! do a L.I. college campus tour!!!!!!
cole isnt one of those fast paste rising stars who fall just as fast. guy’s music actually has substance and hes what hiphop needs. i can see his career will take time to grow and he will gain allot of respect throughout the way.
Yeah, I hate how many mixtapes rappers put out. It used to be when a rapper put out a mixtape it was a big deal because it was like extra music, maybe to hold you over right before an album and it be like 10 songs, but now it’s just apart of the motions and it’s so much shit out there you can’t keep up and some rappers become old before they can even be new.
The magic fucking words ” quality than the quantity.” @JonnieHayward2 I agree with you
dudes rockin college shows…should be enough of a buzz. This vid made me wanna catch a j cole show lol.
@JonnieHayward2
Not at all, bruh. It’s just not like me to like an artist I liked before and then hate him when he start blowing up and getting more into the mainstream. I said all that stuff to show I want him to blow up. You on the other hand, liked Drake like most people here did. Then when the teenage girls around you started going crazy over him, you hated him. I already told you about this before, don’t try to flip this on me.
DOWNLOAD NOW “I DIED” THE TRACK GOES HARD, DUDE CAN SPIT. IT’S ABOUT CREATING A NEW LIFE ONCE ITZ ALL SEEN SAID AND DONE!

This is hilarious ’cause it’s only been a year since “The Warm Up”.
hands down j cole is doing the damn thing. what everyone saying is true his music isnt main streem pop worthy..but that what makes him hot. his flow is sick. word play sick. and swag on 10. everyone needs to stop hatin and get on the movement! i say give it 8-12 months and people are going to be speaking about hollywood cole like hes one of the greats.
dude was 15 writing heat. fire fire fire. listen to can i bus. and then the last stretch he has grown so much in his delevery. my opinion..j cole takes drake throne hands down.
