I think the show is doing ok…still think season one is the best by far.

This has been a wack season so far to me i set the bar too high.
They should just stick to normal story drivein shows based on relevant topics but there not doing that.

off to a slow start but the third season is picking up.
the first season had was almost perfect though so nobodys gunna watch this season without high ass standards
I cosign what Sir Nigel said…I actually enjoy this season alot…I think its more thoughtful then the others so far. yes definitely more satire then jokes, but the jokes still there & there still funny to me imo. What alot of yall expected was sum rip roaring hilarious ass shit with crazy ass jokes 2 make yall damn near die of laughter…well obviously aaron mcgruder wanted 2 actually wanted yall to think about some of the shit & take it in along with sum humor…I guess ppl will lose interest bcuz of that unfortunately.

This season seems to cover a wide range of topics, and because of that i feel they are executed well. great season, and a great show in a whole.

I can tell alot of you aren’t familiar with the boondocks comic, aaran mcgruder is a huge anime fan, and had no problem with v=choosin that art style for his show
not to mention yall must remember, the boondocks isn’t just a comedy..its multi genre…and it executes all of them nicely

Every episode has been very political so far (including the kickball one).
And what episode of the Boondocks isn’t anime based? The show uses an anime art style.
Episodes have been more political than funny this season which is the reason for the mixed reactions by fans. I like it so far.
My problem is that most of the fans only watch the show for its funny quotes but never dissect the meanings of each episode.

The seasons has started off quite well, which is the consensus among my homeboys and my two girls….The writing for this show has always been top notch and extremely well thought out, this season has already pointed out that the shows will still revolve around what are, many times, sensitive race relation and overall political overtone in the media…The writers of this show have also been able to shed light on issues that are predominantly existent in black america, and it doesnt seem like they’re inhibited when it comes to taking some of these messages for our people (all skin colors and ethnic backgrounds) to a level of extremity…which is fantastic. The best responses to art is for people to either love it or hate it. This comment wall shows that the general sentiments are either one or the other, which means the formula is correct.
