  42. This season has been ok so far. I agree w/ all the people that are saying they think their expectations were set too high for this season. The last episode was funny & I laughed a lot at the Thugnificient episode but I think the show peaked when they brought Stinkmeanor back from Hell; that shit was too funny.

  44. I personally liked this episode and the others (well, I didn’t see the kickball episode) for the on-point pop culture references and social commentary. When “Jimmy Rebel” talked about not really liking n***ers because they’re black, but because of their “attitude”. I caught that reference because the real Jimmy Rebel put out an album after Sept. 11 in ’01 called “Its The Attitude, Stupid”. I thought that ish was hilarious.

    I don’t see how people on here are disappointed with this season so far, this is the same ol’ Boondocks to me. What yall want, Family Guy ignorance, or real-n***a sh**??? Lol!!

  50. This is possibly the worst episode of the series, you can really tell Mcgruder is dialing it in. Its the last season and he just gave the reins to someone else, because writing and plot development this weak isn’t his style. And the lack of revelations that Huey usually provides at the end of most episodes really shows the Mcgruder has moved on, mainly due to the creation of his other animated series Black Dynamite. I got the message that was being conveyed, it was just a weak one that has been done by the show before.

These type of cartoons are great at offending simple minded, culturally sensitive people. They made fun of mexicans at the end to and I thought that was fucking hilarious, “Adios burrtios.” And the best part is that the people on this blog who said they where offended will watch the show next week.   52. H8, Looney Toons is a cartoon, and it never won a Peabody for writing. You will never see anyone arguing about the cultural relevance of Yosamitey Sam shooting at Bugs Bunny, but The Boondocks is held to a higher standard, the racist slurs and songs didn’t offend me in the least, it’s the weak writing of this episode that did.
