Malcolm X. was not a racist. If you actually watch interviews and read about him you will learn that he wasn’t. There are muslims of all different races & after his hajj to Mecca, he learned that the teachings of Elijah Muhammad were wrong. Changed his methods and everything. R.I.P

Within the definition of the word “racist” or “racism” in general, the race that is being oppressed cannot be racist to the oppressor. Instead it is a response toward oppression. Since the white male is the oppressor, a black male cannot be racist in the same sense, since does not have the upper hand in the social hierarchy.

no its not that simple as blue is red and blue is not blue. interviews are not facts, they are just him speaking, so you believe everything you hear? that’s just not me, based on what i read and saw, thats just how i feel.
Racist or not, Malcolm helped get black people to where we are today (even though it isn’t were we should be). He’s one of my role models and will continue to be until I die.

Dude, Malcolm X was a racist in his early life. As others have stated after his Haj he rejected Elijah Muhammad and racism. At the end of the day you still feel he is a racist you need to examine your own motivations behind that feeling. BLACK GOD, you are a racist and far from a God. God is not about hatred, but peace, love and acceptance. I hope your anger can be healed one day. So many people here are making uninformed statements from a place of insecurity. The man died for a set of beliefs, a set of beliefs that were not about violence or racial supremacy, and for me that’s enough reason to show respect.
