Excellent footage of Mos Def performing at the Gulf Aid benefit concert in New Orleans. Which raised funds for wetland recovery efforts, fishermen and their families as oil continues to spill into the Gulf.

    I love some good jazz, and he KILLED it.

    BTW, just a recommendation. Check out “Treme” on HBO for some terrific N.O. jazz, great show by the creator of “The Wire”-David Simon.
